The poor Phoenix. With productions constantly getting swapped about. Next we'll hear 2:22 A ghost story will be transferring there with *INSERT NOW-IRRELEVANT POP STAR WITH QUESTIONABLE ACTING ABILITY HERE* starring. Really hope not! I'm done with 2:22 now.

Interesting; two shows heavily linked to the Phoenix and neither going ahead there now (Into the Woods, Stranger Things). I wonder what will eventually go in after Noises Off.

The Oscars is on 12 March so Streetcar will already have finished. I think we're anticipating a Duke of York's transfer, is that what I'm reading between the lines here? Following the speculation that an announcement is coming... That's what I was thinking. It has a 4 month gap from 11th Feb.

What accent will she be doing one wonders? She's probably wondering that herself.

Wouldn't it be lovely to have this at the Ambassadors for a ten week season between Liz Kingsman and Wagatha?

I don't think it's a teaser for anything. This will come back at some point but not anytime soon by the sounds of it.

Must say, a Game of Thrones play would hold no appeal for me at all, even if it was directed by Dominic Cooke, but I appreciate I would be very much in the minority!

I think Into the Woods is firmly in the “not coming back” club as all things stand According to Being Alive yesterday, it's booked a theatre for late Spring!

I've heard it's got another house booked from late Spring Into the Woods or the play that was linked to the Phoenix? Could Into the Woods fit in the Apollo?

Well it’s definitely NOT going to the Phoenix that I know. A huge new play is booked to go in there next year. Is this new play likely to be announced before the end of the year, mrbarnaby? Any further clues you are able to give us at this stage?

People are increasingly saying 'on' but it is wrong. It is 'in the West End'.

Anyone seen/seeing Matthew Modine as Atticus yet? Planning to return for another visit but wondering whether to hold off and see if there’s another extension past April with another actor! Group bookings are being taken until 22nd July so it will be extending until then at least.

Are there any good plays yet to be announced that people can maybe give us a hint about? Trying to make a few plans for next year!

Back to the show and annoyingly there seems to be a big gap of no performances between 10th and 27th June, which is of course when I was looking to book, so that I could nail The Pillowman, Patriots and A Little Life on the same trip. What a pain. Dates are currently only going up as far as 10th June, with more to come. Maybe the June performance 'gap' which appeared online earlier in the week was a glitch. Here's hoping they announce full dates soon because 20th April - 10th June is pretty limited.

Any more word on the rumoured West End transfer to the Ambassadors? Wessex Grove have first option for Donmar transfers and they are on a roll at the minute with a whole raft of shows.

'Luvvies'? I'm always amazed when people who seem to like theatre, and presumably feel a large amount of gratitude for all the pleasure theatre people have given them over the years, reveal their contempt for them - which is what the word 'luvvies' suggests to me. Writers, directors, actors - why the need to mock them? We've just seen a fantasist called Liz Truss destroyed in 44 days as PM. Most of the luvvies would have put a fantasist called Jeremy Corbyn into that job. That's why they get mocked. Because they talk about truth when they have a very tenuous relationship with reality. *What* on earth are you talking about?
