I thought they'd be some recasting but thought it would be Daryl McCormick not Alex Lawther, Why so?

Based on the interview on the one show it seems this production came to be due to the actors strike in America and Harrelson being sent the script and being free to do it. Seems the ball only got rolling in September hence why going to the Riverside Studios as every other west end theatre this sort of production would go to was already booked. So that explains why it's not in the West End then.

Graham Norton was in the audience of The Little Big Things tonight. A few different people in front of me were discreetly taking pictures of him in his seat before the show started and zooming right into his face, which I found...bizarre. God, people can be such d*cks.

The dullest most frustrating show I’ve seen this year… how this got a transfer and not Spring Awakening is beyond me Probably the major reason that this transfer is happening is that the play that was scheduled to open at the Trafalgar Theatre in January has been delayed, leaving a slot wide open for a brave producer with a show ready ready to go. Step forward the Almeida and partners... Interesting. I wonder what they had lined up? I had heard it was a musical. I am pleased to see 'A Mirror' is transferring as I didn't get a chance to see it at the Almeida.

Have decided to cut my losses for this one, had it booked as part of a birthday trip on December 28th but can't face it! Booked for Dear England as a replacement, at least I know that one is acclaimed and I do love football. Football neutral friend will have to deal with it, but we are seeing The House Of Bernada Alba the evening before so best of both worlds. You'll love Dear England- so good!

Has anyone read his book? I’ve just finished it and I’m staggered at how even now, he’s completely blinkered to how dreadful the 2023 Aspects was. Interesting to hear though how he hated the poster- like we all did. Interesting. What did he say about it?

I was looking for a reasonably decent matinee seat in the first week of January but I can't find any offers (and I had thought there were some). I'm not under 30 unfortunately! Am I missing something?

I can certainly see them removing the interval and having it go straight through at 90-100 minutes. Removes the chance for any mass exits! They started with no interval in Brighton and then put one in in Richmond

I see that the producers are now intermittently responding on Facebook: Yes, which has annoyed people, who have responded by saying they weren't charged preview prices in Brighton and Richmond. It's all a bit of a horlicks.

Note to venues: Don't annoy the punters by building up lacklustre announcements.

Just said on Zoe Ball he is doing theatre again around March 2024. Any ideas what it could be?

Sadly it won't last until January with feedback like that. It's a real shame. I had really wanted to see this but won't waste a slot on it now unless something drastically improves by opening night at the Ambassadors.

With Old Friends due to close January 6th and Opening Night not opening until March 6th... is there something very short going into Gielgud in January? Maybe comedy? James Acaster is going into the Pinter for a week in Jan for example Frank Skinner is doing 14 shows at the Gielgud from 5th to 17th February.

The FB comments are universally awful. It must be so disheartening for the company and a total source of panic for John Brant who is producing.

A Voyage Round My Father was looking to come in. It could do a few weeks quite nicely in the Gielgud.

I wonder if a West End run could happen, the Criterion or the Ambassadors would work. The Criterion appears free in January now, as will be the Trafalgar.

I thought it was very, very average on Children in Need. Would not inspire me to book whatsoever. Can't see ATG transferring this to the West End, certainly not without major work.
I remember seeing Mrs Doubtfire on CiN last year and was quite impressed, in contrast.

I am not familiar with any of the cast, I have seen the Ferryman but was so far away from the stage I might as well have been at home watching tv ahah. I hope it is revived so I can see it properly. Is this cast a bit underwhelming? I don't know. No, I like the cast. Some very good actors in there. Leanne Best, Shaun Dooley, Bryan Dick.
