Just won the lottery for next Thursday after nearly paying £100 for a single, can’t believe my luck! Has anyone won recently and know where the allocation is lately?

If Ryan Reid sees out this third contract he will overtake Oliver Tompsett as the longest running Fiyero in London, how depressing…

not too sure.. think it’s just the Wicked social media manager trying to be a bit more creative haha! (I wish they’d do more fan related posts ..) “First Look” could also be the tour cast photos Yeah now that I look at it again it’s obviously saying “fly back” as in come back tomorrow to see what we’ve dropped, not “someone is flying back to the show”, jumped the gun a bit there… Tour cast photos would make sense.

I didnt see this at the NT as I listened to the music and it wasn't my kind of thing. And I'm afraid I've never heard of any of the cast. Must be an age thing. You would have seen Grace in Sunset Boulevard just last month !!

Probably covered somewhere upthread but they’ve cut half of Surrender. On my third visit thought I half noticed it but obvs couldn’t rewind time to check so looked out for it on my fourth. Goes straight from “you are out of danger now” to “let them send their armies” now. Put it back I say. It’s such a lovely melody and very short anyway. Oh I thought Rachel had just messd up the words when I went last week, LOL. What a silly cut to make. She did actually sing the wrong lyrics during AIWNSG to be fair so I won’t blame myself for assuming it was her mistake bless

She was fabulous in Anything Goes. But whenever I see her in anything now, I’m just waiting for her to nervously tuck her hair behind her ears

Do you think I'll catch her before she goes into the theatre If you have any respect for her you wouldn’t try. If a performer wants to meet people at the stage door after the show then that’s great but if they feel that they don’t, you really shouldn’t try bothering them before the show! Bernadette and Lea are the stars of this concert and I’m sure they’re doing their best to not miss a single show, respect their decision to not stage door.

I don't know if he can act or sing, but watching strictly I wondered if Johannes would be considered for this. His solo tours sell very well and could be the kind of name they'd need to sell tickets. I think they’ll be going for a non-binary actor for the role of Jerry/Daphne to follow the Broadway trend, they’ll end up with quite a bit of backlash otherwise (just from the loud but ultimately small mob on twitter but I still think it’s something they’ll want to avoid).

Had hoped this would be a good break for David Hunter in creating his first west end leading role What was Waitress then?

Zara Macintosh was the best in my opinion, I think she “got” the character the most, delivered the humour the best, and her voice was the best suited to the pop sound of the score.

Maybe Tom/Joe could walk into her dressing room to find her using the microwave that was once famously gifted to her by a fan.

I assume that will include JOJ for certain venues then, I will never tire of his Valjean to be honest. I mean as much as I'd love this, JOJ doesn't have the selling power for some of these venues compared to Boe (although you'd assume that selling power has run out or is close to by now!) Oh absolutely but if it’s more than one past Valjean I’d assume John would be involved, unless they want to drag 80 year old Colm Wilkinson out on tour! They’re probably gonna need John on standby for when Alfie inevitably misses half his scheduled performances again…

Also just had a look at the box office seating plans for next week and they look roughly 50% sold, plus or minus, across the week. So if you added them up that would be filling the auditorium 4 times. I remain baffled by the urge some people have to exaggerate “poor” ticket sales to the point of fantasy! Many seats are held back by box office management teams to make a show look like it’s sold better than it has (because no one wants to book for a show that’s barely selling, especially at “full” west end prices), so there’s probably in actual fact a lot more seats available for this for the next week than what the Nimax site would lead you to believe.

Jac Yarrow off again huh? That picture is from last Saturday so the week of performances he missed before coming back for press night, he’s not been off again since.

To me Wicked feels much more American than this (due to how ingrained the Wizard of Oz movie and Judy Garland are in our culture) and yet they did that with British accents. I saw the show on Broadway last Spring and didn’t realise the parallels to the Great Depression to be honest, so I take your point having now realised that!

Seeing as this is a show based on Greek mythology, I don’t see why they’d need to use American accents for the transfer? The run at the Nash was different because they brought over a mostly American cast.

Guessing they didn’t give a reason for cancelling the 12th of October matinee? Shame for everyone who booked especially for Rachel’s first show. They really should offer everyone who booked a Spotlight £20 seat for that performance a new ticket at that price for any performance of their choice but I doubt they will knowing ATG…

With the opening night being pushed to the 12th, and Rachel Tucker starting on that same day, what is happening with Monday 9th. On other Mondays it clearly says Tucker is performing, but I thought Scherzinger wasn't doing Mondays. Tickets are cheaper for the 9th, but will go on? The understudy? Nicole?? Was going to post about this earlier actually, I’m sure at one point there was a pop up for the 9th saying that Norma would be played by “an alternate cast member” and then once the full cast was confirmed it was stated/assumed to be Lara Denning, but that pop up seems to not come up on ATG as of tonight.

To be fair to Imelda her Umbridge in Harry Potter was the epitome of camp so if she can bring some of that energy it should be really fun. (Not that Dolly is evil!)

I saw this in NYC last month and it’s great fun, it’s one of those ones that I’m not sure would really sell but once people got in the door they’d love it. Barbican does seem a good fit for it if they have the wingspace for the train (or they could just downsize it). Kelly Agbowu would absolutely kill it as Sweet Sue and I think Alex Thomas-Smith would be a great choice for Jerry/Daphne.

I went on the first matinee and not many people came out - Bonnie Langford was the only Big Name person who left the building. People were stood there for a good hour hoping for Bernadette or Lea Reminds me of this! I LOVE this skit!!! How veryy dare you

Could be something pre-planned but yes hope Jac is okay, his attendance was near-perfect at Joseph in general.

Isn’t Rachel Tucker being advertised as starting on October 16th? Thursday the 12th matinee and then Mondays from October the 16th
