Is there a pause in between the 2nd/3rd act? Yes. You can’t do much more than stand up in it though. I think it came with about 1hr to go. Thanks! I might have to leave early for family stuff, so leaving at the pause might be better than the interval!

I always sneak in a drink or snack, though i only eat them in the interval. Mainly just soft drinks, occasionally alcohol if im in the mood
Considering the lack of food selection and prices of soft drink, i dont feel guilty about it. I wouldn't have a full meal or crunch on crisps during the show though.

I think the new season looks rather exciting and a real statement of intent. A variety of shows on offer, and I'll definitely be booking Dugsi Dayz which sounds like great fun - makes sense given it debuted at the new AD's old stomping ground New Diorama, which rather excelled at playful productions during his tenure. Really enjoyed Dugsi Days when i saw it at the ND

"Finally, LIFT presents the world premiere of ECHO (Every Cold-Hearted Oxygen) as a part of the Royal Court Theatre’s new season. Running from 13 to 27 July with a press night on 17 July, Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour (White Rabbit Red Rabbit, NASSIM) and Italian Palestinian director Omar Elerian’s (NASSIM, Misty, two Palestinians go dogging) production will see a new, unrehearsed and unprepared performer take to the stage at each show. They will simply be led by a script that asks us to confront what it feels like to be an immigrant in time. "

Liked this a lot today. Good songs and interesting subject matter. Felt very slick, a transfer of some sorts must be in the cards, even if its just in the bigger southwark elephant and castle venue

2 intervals?

Worth noting for the future, you can do this all online in your account section without phoning up, and its all very quick That's useful to know. How close to performance time is this possible? Also worth noting that theyll process it during box office times, so itll be better to it then rather than outside of those times if close to the performance time

My usual theatre going chum is in hospital so I had tickets for Nye and Dear Octopus that I could not use. Previously I have offered tickets to neighbours for free but it's hard work to persuade people to go. I phoned the NT box office and was dealt with by a really helpful American woman who has credited me with the cost of the tickets. It was just so easy. Well done NT. Worth noting for the future, you can do this all online in your account section without phoning up, and its all very quick

Expect it to be a massive talking point during its relatively brief London run – as well as the usual ticketing there will be various accessible options, including tickets for as little as £1 released every Wednesday morning, plus two Black Out nights (Jul 17 and Sep 17) for Black-identifying audience members only (a practice and name pioneered with the 2019 run of the show).
‘Slave Play’ runs at the Noël Coward Theatre Jun 29-Sep 21.

I can't understand why this has sold out already when we know nothing about the quality of the work. Relatively small venue and people really like the concept i guess!

Id guess based on its success so far, itll be moved to the larger Elephant and Castle venue later this year. Definitely a demand for it

If its behind a specific link, you go into much detail as possible.
If your putting posters up, you can be more general but still should be conscious
The loud bangs/smoking/flashing and strobe lights warnings are presumably for Health and Safety reasons, in case people have relevant medical issues which may be effected by that. Is Voldermot also annoyed at those warnings?
It does feel like some weird culture war stuff over something which is perfectly reasonable to me. As i said before, most trigger warnings are behind a separate website link if you need it

I’m not familiar with this play at all but Jodie Comer posted it on her Instagram stories earlier today. She doesn’t have much in the pipeline and I saw an interview recently where she said she was currently ‘unemployed’. Of course she could have just posted in support of the producers after Prima Facie. That would definitely sell tickets for the west end

Could Paul Mescal be in it? I don’t know the play at all but he seems to hang out a lot with O’Harris. He's got a whole load of films in the pipeline bing filmed, so I doubt it
