This Black Friday thingy all seems a bit of a scam, is there any bargains anywhere?
Papers won’t report if it is, as every advert in it are Black Friday ones.

What happened to TodayTix’s search feature?! I can still see the search box - but I think they had an 'advanced search' feature allowing to search for specific dates and matinee/evening (I forget what else) which seems to have disappeared since the latest update... |

Todaytix updated to a shiny version but scrolling through the list is so slow now. Not liking it just yet.
As for black friday - those are hardly real offers.

Seems to be a few good prices on todaytix black friday, £75 stalls seats for £35, gallery 2 seats reduced to £25 for Book of dust at the Bridge theatre.
New year sale at London Theatre seems meh at best, £10 off here or there. I'll end up using my theatre tokens for something though when it goes to general sale in December.

A few better deals on TodayTix now for Cyber Monday. £15 and £25 stalls rear stalls seats for some shows. Selection is a bit limited but seems to be a better deal that the Black Friday ones.

Sorry to bump up an old thread but this was the most recent one that came up for TodayTix. Is TodayTix working for other people? I downloaded the app last night to try to get a rush ticket for Mamma Mia today. I've been trying on & off since 10am & I'm getting nowhere. It says there are tickets available but once I've selected the performance & 1 ticket it goes to a screen that's completely blank save for 3 small dots & stays there. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app to no avail.

I could tell they were drip feeding as the availability option came & went. That's annoying if they won't sell pairs of tickets as 2 singles. And why can't they say so rather than just leaving you staring at an almost blank screen! Anyway, having got nowhere in 4 hours of wrestling with TodayTix I went to the theatre & got front row stalls for £30 45 mins beforehand so it all worked out alright in the end but I could have done without all the TodayTix stress first. I had thought of trying TodayTix for 1 or 2 other shows in the next couple of months but after today I'm not sure I will. |

I really dislike that they removed the functionality when they shown when all singles or all doubles sold out. It is now simply just showing 'tickets available' even though most of the time only either singles or doubles are available. Waste of time. |

There is a little ingenious trick I use to get around theatres that won't split pairs of tickets but it requires speed and two separate screens. It works on TKTS but not on TodayTix...

Is anyone else getting relentless numbers of emails and push notifications from TodayTix at the moment? I'm getting about 2 emails and 2 notifications at the moment, usually reminding me that London Theatre Week (which is entirely made up by them, as far as I can see, and lasts several weeks) is coming up, ending soon, extending etc.
The problem is, I'm loathe to unsubscribe as every now and then they do come through with a good £15 offer or similar.
How do you cope with TT in your life?
