Must say other than Honest Amy it’s a bit of a disappointing announcement.

I was disappointed with the shows announced too. I really enjoyed High Fidelity and went to the In The Heights reunion night recently, which was fantastic, largely because of the passion of the cast for the show and the obvious love for it that Paul Taylor Mills has. He said he’d set up the Turbine to encourage new shows and to discover another ITH. The lovely series of Christmas concerts has been quite poorly attended (apart from ITH) and a couple were cancelled. The venue is still finding its feet, and can’t be taking much revenue. It’s out of the way and poorly publicised and I can’t help feeling needs some stronger shows to make it work. But maybe he can afford to be self indulgent and do what he likes without worrying too much about commercial success? Hoping something more attractive will come along there later in the year. I like to see venues like this succeed. .

Maybe they'd've done better to carry on adding one production at a time, as hitherto, but perhaps felt under pressure to announce a whole season? I've only been once and liked the venue, though it was obviously finding its feet and as several others commented, the foyer counter service could be more efficient. However, it will always suffer somewhat from its location: nothing wrong with it, provided it's adequately signposted and people will get used to finding it and using the best route and form of transport for their circumstances, but it is not near anything similar so a trip there and back requires more time, which not everyone has if trying to fit multiple bookings into one day as many of us do.

Oh no, yet another concert cancelled tonight.
I'm sure this one was a re-arranged show that was cancelled in December too; most unfortunate.

I'm a little suspicious about their cancelled shows. The one with Laura Pitt-Pulford and Louise Dearman was supposedly cancelled because of a leak; I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact they'd sold about nine tickets when I checked the day before.

That's a shame because Samantha Barks was sold out.

That's a shame because Samantha Barks was sold out. It wasn't. A full house doesn't mean that the majority of the tickets were sold.

With that one, Louise Dearman tweeted something about not being able to get a train from Wales to London on the day, so I assumed that was the reason. It was very bad weather.

Reading that some people haven’t been paid for a recent production here. Are there No Limits to what producers will do to avoid paying performers and crew…

Went last night and I enjoyed the show, but as I said in another thread, the toilets were a disaster area. The seats are really uncomfortable (armrests falling apart too) and badly laid out. Not enough seating inside the foyer. Amazingly lovely staff, though.

I've heard not good things about PTM in the past, sadly. Was PTM the producer for "No Limits" or is he just the operator of the venue?

Having checked, PTM is not registered with Companies House as involved with the production company of No Limits (they look likely to be struck off on their Companies House record). I've therefore deleted my earlier comment with regard this specific production. I have heard disquieting things about PTM from others in the industry however.
