Still no updates on this a year later - safe to assume it’s dead (for now) Along with so many other things I was looking forward to seeing that probably won't ever happen now. My list included this along with Sunday in the Park with Jake Gyllenhaal, Cilla with Sheridan Smith and City of Angels which was closed down before I could see it. At least we still have Hello Dolly to look forward to.

Covid ruined the finances to continue with the production? Planning permission never got extended? Basically. Which sucks, I had completely forgotten about this.

Very interesting. Maybe changes based on ideas for the London production?
I'd love for them to add surtitles, much like Rebecca has done for a while which could draw in more fans.

Very interesting. Maybe changes based on ideas for the London production? I'd love for them to add surtitles, much like Rebecca has done for a while which could draw in more fans. The producers say it’s because lots of years have passed, and times have changed. That’s why they’re updating everything, from storyline to music. I think it’s because we’ll have another musical spectacle about WWII, in a newly build theatre. So Soldaat van Oranje comes with the updates, which is great publicity.

Very interesting. Maybe changes based on ideas for the London production? One of the producers confirmed this yesterday at the premiere of the revamped version. Also confirming London is dead in the water for now.
