Aw. That was lovely. Those Boleros were amazing.
Jane and Chris are sixty. SIXTY for heaven's sake! Just sublime. Imagine how it must have been for those professional dancers who were on the ice with them. Not only weren't many of them born 35 years ago, some of their parents wouldn't have been much more than mere children. Kind of like me going on stage with Bette Davis or something!
A good series, once the nonsense departed. I'll be interested to see the voting figures, which I think ITV publish.

A lovely final overall and pleased with the result. James and Alexandra’s bolero was fantastic. The performance by Torvill and Dean was such a treat. Their speed and grace over the ice is second to none!

Great final. It was lovely to see everyone return. Jane and Chris were brilliant. I only wish I had half their energy. James was a very worthy winner. Anyone heard of a tour?

I was so happy James won,was never a fan whilst he was on Strictly,but really grew to like him on this!

Yes same here , glad he won. His Bolero was sublime and he was obviously suffering with the injury.

www.itv.com/dancingonice/voting-results-2019Well, that's a bit of a surprise. James and Alexandra topping the vote in all but weeks 1 and 3. I presumed that Wes would have been ahead pretty much throughout and pipped at the post near the end. (He wasn't performing in week 2.)

Thanks to Tibidabo for posting the full results. Saira got very few public votes despite having a lot of support from her Loose Women chums on Social Media.
I don't think there is a tour this year, the tours have always seemed popular and the top few celebs would likely be available and have a good profile. Maybe Jayne and Chris didn't fancy doing it this year as they would be expected to skate on each show and given they are 60 plus now it might be a bit of a stretch for them. We don't know what injuries they may be carrying from all the years on the ice. An odd couple of performances may be okay but a 20 odd date tour could be a strain they don't wish to do anymore.
