My best friend and I regularly get drunk and listen to the show and the first time I ever did drag I performed to Let’s Be Bad!
It always infuriated me how Ivy was vilified for going after what she wanted in anyway she could. Karen was the epitome of privilege so if I was Ivy I’d want to slap the bitch too.

Have just finished re-watching both series of Smash. It's a wonderful series of great characters and musical numbers. Anjelica Huston and Jack Davenport are both class acts. I have always been a fan of Debra Messing and a new fan of Christian Borle - would have loved to have seen him in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. There are not enough of these types of programmes on TV and there are plenty of musical theatre actors I would love to see on the small screen.

Random offer - anyone want a copy of the sheet music for Let Me Be Your Star? I have a handful of the booklets leftover from when I was promoting the show but doing a clear out so they'll soon be going in the recycling bin. Doing so will be painful...would much rather them go to good use. I can post or you can collect from central London, whatever's easier. Message me if interested! I would absolutely love a copy please!

Borrowed Smash recently, from my sister and loved it, we also have listened to the soundtrack. Love everything about it, the vocals are amazing. Songs stay in your head for days. One criticism, I felt they didn't need the big names like Uma Thurman and Jennifer Hudson. The series finale was amazing and wrapped everything nicely. Shame it only lasted two series.

Having recently been on a 'Smash' rabbit hole on Youtube, i'm just going to leave this here. Probably the most ridiculous dream number ever. Obviously, because Dev was Indian. But i love it. But Ellis stealing the jewels still makes me laugh.

Hit List, live in concert 🙂 Day off and I’m still awake at 5am...how wonderful then that I have this to watch. Absolutely my favourite element of ‘Smash’. Thanks for linking x

I would like to thank tbfl for letting me see both series of Smash when I didnt have Sky Atlantic. It was deliciously aawful and it was too drawn out in the second series even though this was better musically. Overall I loved it, though KMP did look bored out of her brain occasionally.

I had forgotten all about doing that for you! It was a long time ago now. Glad you enjoyed it

Just mailed you Darryl! Thought I’d come back on the board and occasionally lower the tone. x

It’s been confirmed that this is officially being developed into a stage musical with some of the original production team behind the TV series including Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Exciting news!
