Just saw this today. Totally devastated me. It was wonderful. Now I'm not one who wants to musicalise everything..but I think this could work beautifully as an intimate, small-scale musical with a tender score by a Jason Robert Brown, a Duncan Sheik or an Adam Guettel. But where would they fit the tap routine?

Has anyone seen this? I found it terribly overrated and boring. I don't get why everyone's raving about it.
Elio's dad's final speech though!
P.S. See you later, I'ma buy some peaches.

So sorry! I swear I used the "search" thing and nothing came up. I guess it's more effective in desktop mode.

Yeah, this utterly devestated me too. Timothee Chamalet was remarkable - I absolutely loved him. Armie Hammer was also wonderful to watch. Two moments for me, that completely crucified me: Elio's father's speech. I hung on his every word. It was absolutely beautiful. And then Elio staring in to the fire - I think my heart got smashed in to a million pieces at that point.
I would honestly say it's one of the best films of the last 10 years

So sorry! I swear I used the "search" thing and nothing came up. I guess it's more effective in desktop mode. Don't worry about it. The search is crap. I just tried it: searching using a proper search engine and specifying a site of "theatreboard.co.uk" finds the right thread first time. Using the forum's own search returns four results, all of which are completely wrong.
