I'd go as far as to include some of season 7 as being the pinnacle of TV fantasy/drama.
The only problems with season 8 were that it was rushed and the lighting quality was so poor that half of The Long Night was invisible on TV.
I'm in Spain at the minute and off on a day trip to Girona, otherwise known as Braavos and the location of Cersei's walk of shame and a few other bits of King's Landing. I was in Dorne (the Alcazar palace in Sevilla) earlier in the week. It isn't a Game of Thrones trip, but it's interesting to see the filming locations!
