They're proper tickets if you buy them via the Delfont Mackintosh website rather than Ticketmaster.

How annoying. The ‘Hamilton’ website takes you through TM. My April cheapo box seats are through DM though so as long as it’ll happen eventually.

Just got out of this, and it remains a really high quality show. My issues with it remain the same...mostly the women. Poorly cast and poorly written. Only Rachel John and Christina Allado have done anything interesting with these roles to me, and even then there isn’t tons to do. I was expecting wonders from Sharon Rose after people have heaped praise on her but she was barely present until the end. Ally Ava Brown was struggling I think, because her voice was barely a whisper.
However new A Ham & Burr were both excellent, really excellent. Trevor Dion Nicholas doesn’t really have a middle register so his ‘One Last Time’ didn’t soar til the end, but his characterisation is good. Ensemble moved as one and its my first upper circle experience there for ‘Hamilton’ and the view was amazing for taking in the whole picture and lighting. We all saw things we’ve never noticed before, and if it wasn’t criminally uncomfortable I would say it was the place to sit. We’ll be back in April for another go, this time from a box for added comfort.

Thinking about booking this for my friend's birthday - is the leg room in Row A DC that bad? Or is it worth it to see the floor of the stage, or is sitting in Row H in the stalls better?

Slightly more comfortable in the stalls than circle but not a lot. People seem to like the front row but the stage is quite high. If you’re a pygmy I’d say go front Upper Circle and see the whole picture.

I sat in the dress last time i went. Was the leg room tight? Yes. Did i find it painful or ridiculously uncomfortable? No. I'm 5ft 10. Maybe i just had a particularly good seat for leg room, i'm not sure, but i didn't find it as bad as the stories at all, even though it is true that leg room is very tight.

I've seen Hamilton in London 3 times as in NY it's not in my budget. My friend and I attended a live lottery event in NY and he won and chose to take another fella. Surficit to say we have not spoken in the last 4 years. Hamilton in London is at possibly the worst venue and it's the the seats but the venue that I find offensive. My first seats were in the rear stalls. They were good as it was tech week and an saw all the backstage chit chat. The second time I took my husband who hated it. We had expensive seats in the front stalls. His response was muah. I saw Jon Robyns from the side stalls and while the seats were comfy they might have been too comfy as there were many sleeping patrons. It's a pleasant show but not one I'll see again anytime soon for a coin.

I seem to have booked a seat in the Royal Circle (F2) that doesn't exist on either our resident monkey's excellent site or Seatplan! I'm hoping if it's an addition to the end of the row, with nothing added in Row E in front of it, there might be decent legroom to be had there! Either that, or I'm sitting on the stairs in the aisle.

I remember thinking at the time that it was weird it wasn't on some of the seating plans, but as it was on the Victoria Palace seating plan I thought I'd risk it for a biscuit. The view would have been fine if I hadn't been sat behind a guy who was over 6ft tall. I, being a mere 5ft 4in, barely saw half the stage which at £100 plus fees for the ticket made me extremely annoyed. |

That is weird it isn't on any plan. Mind, checking yesterday when I updated, C39 was on plans but has now gone. So... Guessing there is no extra legroom in front of F2 then? Shame, as F3 used to be 10% clear in front. Unfortunately not, if fact I did consider kneeing Mr Giant in front of me when he kept moving his head since my knees were pretty close to touching his back. |

Saw the show on Tuesday with a friend. Understudies for Angelica, Washington, Lafayette and King George. They were okish with Washington the weakest, he sounded quite flat most of the time, maybe he was nervous, an usher mentioned it was his first time playing the part. Karl Queensborugh is not a very strong Hamilton imho, hope he'll improve. Emilie Louise Israel was one of the highlights, she was great as Peggy/Maria.
Overall I was a bit underwhelmed. Maybe I've seen the show too many times.
There was a commotion in the Dress Circle during the second half of the show. During a quiet moment while Eliza was singing Burn, a woman shouted 'I need help' twice. She sounded distressed and she she added 'It's my friend'. Then a man shouted 'Call an ambulance'. It took a while to act as they were in the middle of row B with no middle aisle. People had to start moving towards the aisle on the side to give way and it took a long time.
I don't think it's safe not to have middle aisles in big theatres like the Victoria Palace. That person could have been moved much quicker if there was one. All patrons on that row had to move out of the way and it took a while, I guess there were some elderly people or patrons with some mobility issues who could not move fast.
Also a girl in the third row Stalls decided that this was a perfect moment to grab her phone and start tweeting or posting on Facebook about the incident. Of course I can't be 100% sure that she was writing about it, but the fact that she kept looking up to the Dress Circle while using her phone suggested me that she did.
Not the best night I've had at the theatre.
Not the worst either!
