What is the VP capacity? I can see chaos each night with people picking up tickets or I have I got the wrong end of the stick about how it will work.

just read the faqs, this has potential to go spectacularly wrong especially as ticket master arnt the most reliable or customer friendly company.
theatre tokens have become one of the least useful presents. less and less theatres seem to accept them and if they do you usually have to buy at box office

Ticketmaster have tweeted someone saying the pre-sale emails can arrive up to the night before the pre-sale for anyone else that hasn't received.

Ticketmaster cope with mega sales
Arena tours
Selling up to 250 000 tickets in a few hours
I think the coping capacity will be excellent on the website

I dont think peoples issues with ticketmaster are based on their websites load capacity though a long theatre run with people wanting to look at a variety of dates to find their best options is very different from a couple of arena or stadium shows in each city

Yes They also carry guns about there That's relevant. That's why Broadway actors must wear mikes. You see, our American ears are so damaged from all the constant gunfire we hear every day just leaving our own homes. (And sometimes not.)

I dont think peoples issues with ticketmaster are based on their websites load capacity though a long theatre run with people wanting to look at a variety of dates to find their best options is very different from a couple of arena or stadium shows in each city plus their website crashes for big arena concerts so not sure they are any better than anyone else. my bigger concern is relying on them to update card details etc just so you can get into the event you have already paid a fortune for. will the theatre really turn people away if they no longer have the card?

Do you think the first preview would be safe to book for? Or is there a likelihood it could be cancelled/delayed?

I can't be the only person to think that the hype for this will be greater than the demand in the long run. Apart from the fans on here, does anyone know anything about this show? Passing on it...

I also know many people Who have never heard of it Compared to Book Of Mormon For which the creators had a big fan base already And compared to Harry Potter As examples

Without wanting to sound facetious, could you explain exactly what they are "ridiculously excited" about? I would assume the show itself. Thought that was fairly obvious from the post. Non theatre people saying that theyve heard lots about it and cant wait to see it for themselves when it reaches London. You implied only people on here are remotely interested so I offered an alternative viewpoint
