£200 for a premium ticket?!? They obviously think the demand will be good, I would NEVER pay £200 for a show! I don't think this will have the demand America does where it is sold out completely. I think it'll sell out for the first few months but then the hype will die down. I think you're being naive. The producers are aware of the demand more than we are and the website even states 'We expect demand for HAMILTON tickets to be exceptionally high.' Remember that Americans can fly over and see it for £600 cheaper. Yep. It was the same for The Book of Mormon when it arrived here too.

Not complaining about them taking steps to prevent scalping at all. Just seems harsh to me having to take govenment issued photo ID and them to not allow buying of tickets as gifts. As far as I'm aware that's how it was done for Adele, Kate Bush etc. It was but theyre awful. Joking aside this means I will need to rethink my plans to not renew my passport when it expires thus increasing the ticket cost

So hoping that my Delfont Mackintosh + membership will be me saviour on Monday with its exclusive booking phone number if I end up with a terrible virtual queue position via presale list... Or what do we think the chances of a DMT+ only booking link is?

From the FAQ: "The producers reserve the right to replace Hamilton with Ghost the Musical at any time. There will be no refunds for tickets sold for these performances."

I don't think it will be as much of a success over here and now looking at the tickets I stay with that idea. The cheapest are £32.50 for preview or £37.50 after. It is very highly priced and I already predict they will be having a big sale or a big reduction as not that many people will see it after the hype is gone.
also I do like the lottery thing

Or what do we think the chances of a DMT+ only booking link is? Ticketmaster blog with info says DMT+ members are getting first pick at 10am Monday, with Hamilton priority list booking opening at 12. If that's what you meant by a DMT+ only booking link, then sounds like there is one

Broadway audiences would wet themselves laughing at £32.50 being considered an expensive Hamilton ticket.

Time will tell and I guess we will know fairly soon but I think those expecting it not to be a success are being naive. Its a topic thats been rehashed on here frequently but I can see an additional booking period if not during priority booking just before general sale starts

Plus honestly apart from the premiums the tickets aren't any more expensive than all the other West End shows.

The premium tickets are definitely expensive however they know that people will pay that money. The rest of the ticket pricing is pretty normal and isn't reallly much different to other big west end shows. Plus they're doing daily and weekly ticket lotteries for cheaper prices as well

My issue is they claimed there was going to be a greater proportion of tickets under £35 than any other show, and now it turns out that, previews excluded, the only tickets under £35 are the daily lottery tickets

Look at their presidential election Their general reaction to anything It's not a normal example of a country If you look at the audience of Hamilton's reaction to Mike Pence showing up vs. the audience of The Color Purple's reaction to Hillary Clinton showing up, I think we can conclude that Broadway fans do not fit into the demographic of gun-carrying Trump voters.

I've had no email yet but that could be that I genuinely can't remember whether I signed up for priority booking or not!! Can't find my original confirmation email at all anywhere. If it went to junk I would've deleted it accidentally, but on the other hand I just may not have signed up at all!
