I wonder if they found someone to play Dorothy yet? I predict they’ll lease the rights to Judy’s imagine from Warner Bros and incorporate her into the movie instead of using a new actress as Dorothy. |

Dorothy won't be in it at all. Like the stage version, she'll be referenced but not actually seen. |

They're shooting the Defying Gravity scenes from next week. I can't wait to see cynthia do defying gravity gosh it's so exciting but annoying knowing they are filming one of my favourite songs sang by one of my favourite person. I know Cynthia will smash it 🧹💚 |

Given that the story is now 4-5 hours long it wouldn’t be out of the realms of possibility to make more call backs to The Wizard of Oz especially as Dorothy is featured in the book. |

Adam James has joined the cast. It’s not announced who he’s playing but some sites are suggesting Glinda’s father.

It was the one shouting in uppercase “this movie is literally going to become my entire personality” or words to that effect which stuck out in particular. I know wild hyperbole is now considered the norm for social media platforms and those who exist on them but do people realise how absolutely stupid they sound? Regarding the look of it from the photos, it looks very goth. Which is fine except that the look of it has to fit in with the songs which apart from a couple of exceptions are light as a feather. I’m sure the design of the show is almost cartoon like for a reason. It all sounds like it’s going to take itself quite seriously which might not work. |

She's a talent and has one hell of a voice- I've heard here live- she got three ovations and I've no doubt that she'll slay this role but there's something about her- I can't quite put my finger on it- maybe it's the way she holds herself, or comes across in interviews- but she just ain't my cup of tea.
