She sounded like a budgie trilling for a fresh cuttlefish in the Les Mis film.

I really liked her in Mamma Mia - the sadly cut “The Name of the Game” is terrific. But Les Mis wasn’t good at all.
I think it’s great that she even recognises this herself.

If you stay stuck in 2013 perhaps, but she gets credit from me for getting better since Les Mis - and for acknowledging her own failures in that film. She sounded good in Mamma Mia 2. |

I have no idea what to expect from this casting. I find it hard to believe any Fiyero could relate to both of them, which is probably why the casting has not been announced.

Tend to agree. It’s hardly hot property any more is it? We’ve seen people fly onscreen for nearly eighty years and they are going to have to do something spectacular to make this worth the trouble. ‘Oz The Great & Powerful’ did some pretty spectacular stuff, which might be worth paying homage to.

Austin Butler would be a great fit - but not with either of the two they’ve cast. Cynthia in particular would look like his mother. I don’t think there’s actually that much of a gap but she looks older than her age and he looks younger, not a good combo.
