I'd imagine this will take a daytime/matinee slot at one of the Nimax venues (maybe @sohoplace?). They tend to do a lot of stuff like that.

I do agree that it's likely going to a daytime show as it's fairly short at only 60 minutes. The puppetry looks incredible.

From the off-Broadway production still that I saw, this seems remarkably colourful and family friendly.
I would imagine (I'm not an expert at these things) autism friendly, providing a lot of stimulation for the senses.

Not ashamed to admit I’m going to go and see this on my own as a grown adult and possibly cry

Riverside Studios is a good venue for this and I imagine it'll sell well. It's also going to Richmond.

I'm so thoroughly confused by this, I need someone to explain. I've seen clips. This is just... A Winnie the Pooh story? With some (very nice) puppets? I can't understand why it's an exciting thing, but please fill me in with what I'm missing. It does look very pretty but........

It’s extremely cute and promises a nice show to enjoy, sometimes it really can be that simple!

Anyone see the production currently at Riverside?
I assume this is a puppet show for toddlers and younger but is it possible for parents who are also fans of Pooh to enjoy the hour-long experience?

For the kids.
A good relaxed introduction to theatre for the wee ones.
Robbie Noonan is the most dynamic performance as Tigger. I think Benjamin Durnam was playing Pooh. Sweet performance as expected. Alex Cardall brought out the smugness in Owl, Rabbit and Eeyore.
Lots of little ones in attendance. Interesting mixed use venue. Saw a couple of childless adults but very few.

I made an early start this morning for a trip down to Hundred Acre Wood for my first of a 3 show day for a bit of nostalgia (and quite honestly just to be a big kid again) and made for a lovely hours entertainment. Plot wise from an adults perspective it is wafer thin and maybe it could of done with having a bit more depth but as it has to appeal to both really young kids up to adults, I appreciate the simpler story-telling approach used.
The puppets look fantastic the cast did an amazing job in bringing them to life on stage. Thankfully, the cast operating the puppets wear lighter coloured (blues and greens)clothing so that the focus remains on the characters and not the pupetters. The woodland set used looked really nice up close from my front row seat and whilst a static set, being sat in the audience you do get covered in leaves and snow as the seasons change for a little bit of magic.
As a musical, it features many of the original Sherman brothers songs featured in the films (sung by the cast)and music from later films and the 1980s tv series and Pooh’s “hums” from author A A Milne. All the music is prerecorded.
In terms of the atmosphere, as the majority of the audience are young kids / babies, it is very much a relaxed within the auditorium with people coming and going if needed. The show is definitely a great way to kids into the theatre and the short run time is long enough to keep them entertained.
Overall, it’s harmless fun for all ages and I certainly came out having had a nice time.
