It does seem a little soon. Won’t bother with this show for another 10 years or so. We get endless revivals of the same few shows all over the country, but no Next to Normal, If/Then and a dozen other shows I’d rather see debut over here.

Loved the last production at TR Drury Lane, this one will have a lot to live up to when it comes into London. Does seem very soon for a revival in London though!

Tough sell for me after the Drury Lane version was basically everything I wanted from this show. Let's see what they come up with!

I often find that theatre shows need lights so we can see what's happening on stage, but maybe that's just me. There was quite a lot of lights in the last production of 4nd Street and I think that's quite helpful.

Hmm the last curve/Chichester 42nd Street was disappointing so bit sceptical on this one. Curve in general is a bit hit and miss.
Shame they didn't tour the drury lane production

This is now on general sale at the Curve Theatre Leicester and Sadlers Wells.
The Curve usually offer half price previews for the first few performances of their in-house productions but tickets for 42nd Street cost £50 to £59.50 for Price Area A seats from the opening night on Wednesday 17 May. Press Night is on Tuesday 23 May.
Even pricier at Sadlers Wells from 7 June. £75 to £110 for most of the stalls and First Circle, although there are plenty of £15 and £30 seats in the Second Circle.

I don't know about elsewhere, but in Leeds the prices are unusually affordable.

This production as it was couldn’t transfer to any of those venues. It would have to be cut down and redesigned |

It won't happen, but I'd personally love to see Sheena Easton return!
She famously vowed to never perform in Scotland again in 1990 after the infamous bottling incident though, so that might hinder her wanting to commit to a tour as well, even if she did return on a long shot.
