Fantastic news - I’ll have a chrysanthemum tea to celebrate.
Incidentally if you activate the ‘translate’ for the link you get some hilarious examples:
Fiddler on the Roof - Playing Violin on the Roof
Merrily we Roll Along - Merry Wee Roll Along

Thanks for sharing. Brilliant piece of news to wake upto.
I'm loving the logo.
It's one of my fave Uncle Steve's!
Anyone know when this will open in London?

Exciting news, and good to see that there are plans to do this at the Menier Chocolate Factory. I was getting a little worried that this was closing, as we hadn't heard about any shows going in. I would also love to know when it is planning to open in London.

One caveat I suppose: I don't know if the precise details of this theatre partnership are publicly available. It could indeed be that both countries get this production; or it could be just an agreement for a loan of creative talent; or something in between (for example, the Menier might have rights to replicate this production, but may not do so in the near future). At least this initial announcement provides some hope for the first scenario though.

I hope they don't cut Chrysanthemum Tea or the Lion Dance like they did in the most recent Off-Broadway production. The former is full of such clever lyrics and the latter is such an arresting Act One closer.

Thanks for sharing originalconceptlive . The pics look great, very minimalist and also very stylish 1970's I'm totally okay with Tea getting cut. I find it holds up the action plus It's a fictitious take of events that was a mother-son therapy piece for Sondheim and Prince
