Family drama by US playwright Carey Crim of secrets and lies, nature and nurture, the families we choose v the families we are born into.
Some very good acting slightly diminished by an overwrought plot which is at times undone by adopting the type of judgmental tone which only characters in plays carry through. Emotiveness is not always a convincing vehicle for emotion.

I really enjoyed this which I saw at a preview. Whilst agreeing with reviewers who said it became melodramatic towards the end, I was disappointed by their poor ratings as I found it engrossing and extremely well performed. So I'm glad I booked and saw it uninfluenced by the professional press and would still recommend it.
