Shamelessly stolen from another forum I frequent (not theatre related, the horror!) I thought it might be fun for us to post 3 predictions of things that might occur during 2022 and then we revisit it at the end of Dec and see if anyone is Nostradamus. I’ll go first.
1. I know it’s treasonous but I think we will have King Charles this year.
2. Boris out, Rishi in.
3. New Bond revealed to be Idris Elba.

1. Prince Andrew is found guilty by the US Court in the civil case and has to give up his title
2. Boris stands down as leader
3. Covid recedes into the background and we won't be at threat from restrictions

Greg Doran announces he will step down from the RSC in 2023 "After the end of the complete cycle of works which started in 2013 it seemed like a natural place to end". The RSC invite applications for the post, announce they've received "many outstanding applications including from names that would surprise you" and then appoint Erica Whyman anyway because "in these uniquely challenging times continuity is important".

It's certainly nothing a US court could impose, and royal princes have been of poor moral character before without losing their titles. 1. I know it’s treasonous but I think we will have King Charles this year. I'm afraid you're right, but are you predicting abdication after her Jubilee or natural causes? (Whichever, let's hope the play 'Charles III' isn't predictive!) |

Him being found to be a nonce and rapist by a court , even a civil one, will probably make his position untenable. Charles will definitely sideline him once he's king anyway |

I predict the Queen will abdicate to become the first female AD of the RSC.
That way she can control the quality of plays about her great great great great great great great great great great grandson.

It’s an odd job isn’t it, being a lawyer.
The public gallery at the Old Bailey or Westminster Magistrates Court is a decent trip for a theatre enthusiast.
