Has anyone had any luck with the Wednesday "pay what you can tickets" yet? I was lucky last week. Waited in the queue about 10 minutes before getting to the front. There were seats dotted around multiple levels but they disappeared very fast - I got row C of the dress circle (going tonight, very excited!). When checking out there was just a selection to choose how much you want to pay in £1 increments, the lowest amount was £1.

Has anyone had any luck with the Wednesday "pay what you can tickets" yet? Yeah, it's definitely possible although it seems that absolutely heaps of people are going for it (and probably even more now after press night). On the first week, I had the lottery page open on 3 different devices and didn't even get close. On the other hand, my pal joined the queue about 1 minute before it launched and got through in a couple of minutes and grabbed tickets for row L, central stalls with a very decent view. Returns are also popping up online several times daily, although they go very quickly. Keep trying!

Well, third time lucky on the lottery! The red bar was sprinting at first today, and then came to a pause for a few minutes, before resuming its sprint and I managed to get tickets for Saturday night. Was worried I would miss this one but luck was definitely on my side today.

Thanks for the replies about the lottery. I got closer today as managed to get 1 in my basket but by the time i checked out it had gone. Hopefully I'll follow Mark's example and be 3rd time lucky next week. I did see one return online during the week, but couldn't afford the full price ticket, so the lottery is my only chance I think to see it live (will see the NT live if not)

Well worth continuing to check for returns as they do come up at lower price points too (I’ve seen them at £40, £25 and £15), but they sell at lightening speed regardless of price, so it’s all down to luck as to when you hit that refresh button!

Just come home from the show tonight. The piece hit very close to home for me and left me quite angry and upset. Stunning performance from Jodie - I cannot believe this is her stage debut.

Well, she's great isn't she It is an incredible performance and she never makes it look like hard work. Wasn't 100% sold on how the ending was written, felt like it strayed slightly too far from the court room setting and rules but no complaints about how it was delivered. Also, couldn't help noticing that the ceiling of the set appears to be made from Ivo's Human Voice box. I hope they've let Ruth out...

Hi all, like a number of people on this, I have been trying for months to get a ticket for Prima Facie and no success on ticket swap or the online lottery. Has anyone here managed to get a standing ticket on the day? And if so what time did you queue from in the morning to get one? the theatre box office opens at 10am - is that correct? Considering travelling to London to try my luck but can’t afford to go on a fools errand if there’s little hope of getting one. Any info would be appreciated 🙏🏻 Thanks in advance 😊

Or going to box office before 6 pm and trying ur luck for spare returns. You can prolly call ahead too before heading out.

I’ve looked a couple of times at ATG’s website, and it usually just shows “sold out.” I’ve looked tonight and there’s a countdown to tickets going on general sale. Is this one of those shows where they keep releasing extra seats now and again? Or is it extending/transferring or something?

How strange - just looked myself and you’re absolutely right. It’s counting down to midday so might be worth a check back then!
And if you’re still after a ticket, the returns do come up, you just need to refresh, refresh and refresh again until something appears. It worked for me but it did take quite a while. They go super quick when they do pop up!

I have just been on the site and there seem to be quite a few tickets for £5 in the stalls. I booked a pair. An extra show next Tuesday, I think Not got Jodie Comer in it I just found out

Would have thought the same except the lottery is at 10am and the countdown was to midday (just over 4 hours when I looked at around 8am this morning). Perhaps it was for the extra matinee next Tuesday (sans Jodie).

How many months/years in advance do you have to book tickets for a show like this? I had no idea it was even in the pipeline, and I found out too late.
Also, is it really that popular or is the production creating artificial scarcity to drive up the hype?

Also, is it really that popular or is the production creating artificial scarcity to drive up the hype? The entire run plus standing for every performance is sold out so yeah, it's that popular. Tickets went on sale in...November? And it was pretty much sold out straight away.

Follow Theatres, Producers, Baz and sites such as What’s on Stage on Twitter, usually the first place to find out about upcoming productions.
Subscribe to Theatre’s and Producers mailing lists to often get priority access.
At least then you can then make a decision to buy on release and if you have priority access you have a better chance of getting the ‘cheaperr’ seats.
Bought Prima Facie & Jerusalem immediately on priority access as always going to be a golden ticket due to the leading actor.
This site is also a good place as someone will always create a thread often within minutes of a must see show being announced.

I must admit, despite having liked Jodie Comer since My Mad Fat Diary, I never realised how popular she is so was surprised it completely sold out.

No luck again this week for me in the PWYC lottery. I've just bought tickets for the NT Live as don't want to miss it totally (tickets selling very well for these as well so ended up in Row C)
