Out of interest has anyone not received an NHS text /email Vaccination appointment reminder .
My Cousin missed her appointment as she booked it 12 weeks ago, forgot about it & never received any reminders .
I have my second dose tomorrow & am yet to get any reminders. For my first dose I had text & email 2 days before

I had no reminders for my second one, though I did change the date so wondered if that was the reason.
To be honest though, it is on each of us to take responsibility for our own health and set reminders ourselves. No one should be relying on the Government to do it for them.

I didn't have a reminder either and was wondering if that was normal.
As said above though, given how important and relevant it is, people really should be keeping track of it themselves anyway.

Second dose is done at St Thomas Hospital . This time there was no queue, walked straight in. Last time I queued outside for an hour to get into the tent. The other vaccination tent next door isn’t even being used anymore.

I had no reminders - just original phone call a few days before first one & then a call to tell me to come early the next morning for the second.

I reacted quite badly to the second dose. Yesterday had temperature, headaches, body aches & nausea. Woke thismorning & all gone except the nausea and general fatigue.
Surprised as first dose all I had was a sore arm

Did you have Pfizer? Most people seem to have a worse reaction to the second dose that the first for that one. (I had AstraZeneca, which is the other way round, so I had the fluey symptoms the first time & only a sore arm the second time.)

I had my second Pfizer on Tuesday. Had physio for my hip straight afterwards so completely forgot about the jab until I went to bed and tried to lay on that arm. The following day I had a very slight temperature and headache, but have been fine since.
Overall I'd say my first one was worse as my arm was a lot more painful including nervy pain in my shoulder which drove me mad and lasted a few days.

The arm was much more sore after the first jab than the second, while the other symptoms were similar after both. I did get a text before my second, but that was because they wanted to bring the date of my second jab forward.
