I’m sure that argument will kick off again in a few months as we get nearer to Mrs Doubtfire.

I assume they were going for a sexy vibe, and yet this is one of the most underwhelming and least sexy renditions I've ever seen...

I thought they would extend their contracts since the new leads haven't even started rehearsing yet

Just re-read that thread what about Frank N'Furter role Frank-N-Furter isn’t trans. He’s a male and is deliberately portrayed as very masculine. It’s not even that he enjoys dressing up as a woman, I always thought that was just what is worm where he’s from. So the joke is that what’s completely normal where he’s from is very not-normal on Earth.

What Frank would be classed as under today's terminology would be open to question, he was certainly bisexual and had a very strong sex drive. Maybe it was the place he was from was just transexual as the song lyric said

ATG as of Thursday night has 25 June listed as final performance for Fra and Amy.
if there was some level of star casting coming in - wouldn't they have publicized that by now for Summer Tourists? I admit I was quite excited for Daniel Radcliffe

I'd think we'd hear about replacements soon unless they are bringing Jessie's alternate back in for example. The simple fact being rehersals would need to start soon with the company and someone would hear "off the record" info.

Oh wow. She's a super swing isn't she. Going tonight, missing out on Vivien Parry's turn, but quite intriguing the prospect of someone that young performing the part.

Planning an impromptu trip tomorrow and hoping to grab cheap (😂) seats somewhere. Today’s Tix mentions negative lateral flows or proof of vaccination: is this still a requirement does anyone know? Thanks

Proof of vaccination or a negative test is still required and checked when you get there.

I carried proof of vaccination and that was checked. I saw this again, 5 months on now. Lots of covers. Emily Benjamin performed very well and sold her turn as Schneider, I think, as much as possible with her age. There’s no denying her ability, especially given that she covers 7 roles for the show, including the lead. Sally Frith was a very funny Kost.
Amy Lennox just blew me away. She sings a tad too well to be seen as lacking in talent, but that does not matter since she drives home her absolute belief about being a loser more than Buckley did. There’s a bit more charm to her Sally and I really loved her performance.
Fra Fee performs very well, and his voice is superb, but I just don’t think you should be able to more or less cart it off to Moulin Rouge next door and have no one bat an eye. There’s none of the mercurial and grotesque edge that Redmayne performed it with, and his second act performance is more Batman villain complete with manic laughter, than Redmayne’s chilly Mitläufer. He wastes the intention of his costuming I thought. Though I do think whoever comes on next will probably follow more in Fra’s Emcee mould. It’s an interpretation that probably allows for broader scope of casting. Looking forward to seeing who it is and if they can offer something new, in one of the most interesting characters in theatre.
Anyhow, this musical will always get to me (strange to call it a favourite in some ways, but it probably is) and I hope the cast recording rumours were true.

I showed my American vaccination card. I don’t know how others did it but there’s still separate checkpoints for it before you can get in the normal entrance lines.

Do you think we can get refunds on tickets for false advertising? I had booked for cast change and I'd rather lock myself in a basement in Berlin than seeing Fra and Amy murder the Emcee and Sally again.

Ah but did the advertising say which cast members would change or were they just saying there would be a cast change which, in a way, is correct.

The new Herr Schultz looks quite intense in that photo.
