Isn't Adam barely in his 40s, if at all? He might read older and is bald, but come on..He's not that much older than Joe and much younger than Ria.

Is he the bloke who was in the ensemble of Les Mis?
I saw him cover for Thenardier and he was rather good. Agree he's young though.

He is. He was also in Side Show and Love Never Dies. He's got a distinctive look, and I can see how he can be a Max. I also think I went WHOA he can sing really well- I either had that reaction in Les Miz or Side Show, because although he was a standout in Love Never Dies, I think most of his singing was with the other two pets who ran Phantasma. But still- way too young.

Adam is only in his early 30s - so yes a lot nearer in age to Joe than to Norma. That said he's almost certainly closer in age to Ria Jones than Fred Johanson is to Glenn Close. Make-up and lighting will probably do the trick - he will certainly sing the part really well.
I'm not sure he was in Side Show (he's been in Les Miserables for the last two years) though the character he played in Love Never Dies could have been.

Adam Pearce is 33. I also know what he has been cast in over heard him say it to people at stage door before he left Les Mis.

I misread this as "Adam Pearce to the max" and felt transported back to the early 1990's! Cowabunga, dude!

Did anyone see Molly Lynch cover for Katherine Jenkins in Carousel for that one performance? What was she like?

I'm mystified why they have gone for a Von Mayerling and a DeMille who are years younger than Ria Jones!!!

Not sure if this has already been said but Danny Mac is only doing Sunset until Christmas. It says on the official website and as he has now been cast in the Birmingham panto which runs at the same time as Sunset returns from its christmas break i dont see him returning

Ria is the right sort of age to play Norma, she has been played by much older actresses before.
I was checking Ria's age on IMDB and it says well known drag act Ceri Dupree is her brother - I've never heard this before!
Ironically Ceri is in B'ham Panto with Ria's Sunset Blvd co-star Danny Mac this year.

I was in a quaint, little known fishing village called Sitges (you won't have heard of it) a couple of weeks ago and Ria's photo is proudly displayed in El Piano, the bar where she used to belt out showtunes until the early hours of the morning back in the day.
