On or around the 29th October 2021, Beyond Shakespeare and friends are going to stage part of the Lord Mayor's Show from 1621 on Cheapside, recreating some of the excitement of these performances as were in the 17th century. The text was by Thomas Middleton.
I've been fortunate enough to take part in editing and recording some of these for the Beyond Shakespeare and they are a fascinating insight into the past. More to be found on the link below:
