For those familiar with the Flanagan Collective's Orpheus, from Edinburgh Fringe (I know there are a few here), the team have new project that's just been released.
HALF MAN || HALF BULL
THESEUS & DAEDALUS
A retelling of two Ancient Greek Myths as a double album.
2 very old stories told in a brand new way. 2 narrative led albums, 20 original tracks.
The albums are packaged up with a listening pack that helps lead the narrative as your listen through for a real experience.
On top of that venues like Streatham Space Project, Stephen Joseph Theatre & more have helped develop this project in Lockdown and there's teases to indicated we maybe seeing this on stages across the UK soon!
I've really missed albums that tell a story, long forgotten in the digital age, so this has me very excited.
The preview here has got me giddy for it to arrive.
