Caught the show this afternoon.
WOW
A great piece of original musical theatre writing, with an all round very strong book and score, and a truly exceptional central performance from Ben Platt.
Production was "announced" today to be transferring to Broadway, currently off-Broadway production is sold out except for daily general admission (that's the only way I managed to get in.
Definitely a one to see!

This is the announcement... of the announcement. I've seen it twice (DC and off-Broadway). So happy for them!

It sounds pretty interesting, though from what I've read about it, has some Next to Normal wannabe moments in it. I like the window song, but generally I feel the composers are inconsistent with their music.
I'd see it though.

An original musical. Can you imagine that happening in London?

Booked a ticket to see this in December. As I wasn't willing to pay the enormous prices they were quoting, I opted for a cheap-ish $59 ticket (still $72 including fees) up in the Balcony.
Ten days ago, I got an eMail from Telecharge that they are moving theatres from the Belasco to the Music Box Theatre, that my ticket will be transferred automatically and that they'll get back to me shortly. However, as I haven't heard back from them yet, I was wondering if anyone of you is affected by this as well and if their ticket has already been transferred successfully. As the Music Box Theatre has only two levels, I guess I'll end up at the back of the Mezzanine.

Same. I am also seeing it in December. I emailed them and got a very sketchy answer saying thank you, we will get back to you, then inserting an answer in quotation marks LOL
So I called them, yesterday actually. It's still not sorted, and the rearrangement will be done by the theatre themselves and not Telecharge. Telecharge will send an email with the confirmed ticket. I was guaranteed that it will be the same/similar seat but certainly the same performance.
The thing is, and I just noticed that this is the case with most of my Broadway bookings, that I actually do not have the eticket and that the booking confirmation says it will be sent [X..i forget the exact number of weeks] before the performance date.

Good to know, so I'll just wait patiently until they get back to me. Not that waiting patiently is one of my strong suits though. Sounds as if they are processing every seat manually... Just hope that my new seat won't be too crappy.
When booking tickets, I always choose box office collection (or Will Call, as it's called in the US). Don't like having an eTicket printed on a sheet of paper. Really prefer having a proper ticket.

Generally I would too, but they normally charge yet ANOTHER stupid fee for a physical ticket, be it at box office collection or by post (yet another fee). Though over the years I became indifferent to the form of ticket as long as it gets me in. I often lose the ticket stub anyway.

Update:
Still no information about my new seat (apart from the fact that I'll end up in the Mezzanine). Guess I'll find out when I pick up my ticket.

Same text as me I presume. Christ, it can't be that hard to tell everyone their new seat number, can it? Most likely I won't even find out until 11th December when I pick up my ticket. Ridiculous.

I figured mine would most likely be the same, as the email says the orchestra and circle seats will be the same (or comparable). Why are you stressed? lol As long as you have your confirmation you'll be fine.

I'm just curious where I'll end up, that's all. Had a front row balcony seat and will now (most likely) end up at the very back of the Mezzanine.

Have you tweeted them? I'm not sure it would help since they seem preoccupied with retweeting anyone who so much mentions them in a whisper, but it's worth a shot.

I'm not on Twitter. Just checked my Telecharge account and it also only shows my old order. Guess I'll have to wait until I actually see the show then.
