John Owen Jones, never gotten the hype around him - now I do. Stunning mix / vocal. Excited to see Lucy St. Louis (Phantom) shortly.

JOJ singing well. Though his vibrato is wider than it once was. Still one of the better JVJ to have played the role

Not some of the photos I’ve seen. Groups of people taking selfies sat watching it, no masks on. I don’t think this is responsible behaviour if we want to get theatres reopened. Everyone around me kept them on last night. Same yesterday afternoon. All very well behaved on the mask front.

I don't like this shouty Raoul. Rushing through the song.
Lucy is lovely. But deserves a better partner

Everyone around me kept them on last night. Same yesterday afternoon. All very well behaved on the mask front. At Friday evening’s performance there were four individuals around me who flouted the rules with their masks. Not exempt, just inconsiderate. They sat down wearing them, removed them to drink, then continued to keep them off for most of the duration. It was the same at Six. The ushers in Nimax theatres don’t appear to be as thorough as those at the Criterion last week, who were very attentive.

How to ruin the mood. Khan isn't adding anything.

Laura Pick was rather wonderful. First I’ve heard of her. Is she (normally) the the main Elphaba in the show?

How to ruin the mood. Khan isn't adding anything. How is he detracting? Could we not just keep this positive for once?

Well done to those guys who started all this. What an amazing story and achievement. It really is. An incredible achievement and I really think they should be recognised by the Oliviers with a special award for all the money they have raised.

The founders need to be nominated for the honours list.

That song always brings a tear to my eye.
One of the best late Queen tracks

I really enjoyed it. Towards the end there it did bring tears to my eyes at points.
What a great achievement and celebration of theatre. I can't wait to be back in London seeing shows next month (hopefully) and back in a theatre to watch a show for the first time since last feb on Wednesday!

That was a fantastic concert. So many great performances over the 2.5hrs. A really great opening number from Bonnie and Trevor to that stunning Queen classic as a closer. For me, Mazz Murray won it for me. Her rendition of "Winner" tonight for me has to be the best stage version of that song I've heard sung since Mamma Mia! opened. She totally owned that song and stage. Though that preceding TINA performance came a close second. Seriously, someone needs to get TINA the musical on a UK tour ASAP.
I wasn't keen on the Pretty Woman performance and I didn't get much from the POTO Raoul, just not much emotion in his singing I'm afraid, just a bit too shouty for me.
Having now raised a million pounds, that is absolutely great news in these difficult times. Well done to everyone involved.

Showing how much better Elphaba is when you sing her to score.

Totally agree - was seriously unimpressed by him. I do hope this isn't some attempt to detract from band reductions by putting mediocre singers/actors in certain roles. The (unchallenging) score seemed to challenge his range and he seemed a bit lost. Maybe Lucy just outshone him - she's very charismatic.

I found the song choices a little dull but I've got a feeling this was aimed at an audience who live & breathe the west end, rather than someone who hasn't seen a majority of the shows before
