The £20 seats only became once the bulk of the seats had been sold so I’m assuming ATG were selling the spares at the cheap rate.

I can see a few £20 seats online for Wednesday but most are still full price for this final week at Liverpool.
The usual " can't leave a single seat" block clearly hasn't applied here as there are ONLY singles available for the rest of the Liverpool run.

The usual " can't leave a single seat" block clearly hasn't applied here as there are ONLY singles available for the rest of the Liverpool run. I've made a couple of online bookings at the Opera House in Manchester recently which have left a single seat so maybe it's a new enlightened ATG where single seats are free to be left as you please! If ATG then decide to discount them, it's win win! This is ATG though so probably just a glitch and back to the usual "no leaving single seats" next week.

Gavin Lee was interviewed this evening on Instagram and confirmed that he is missing the entire Cardiff run of Beauty. Bit of a shame for those who expected him to be there. Nothing official from Beauty musical on this as far as I can see.

Nobody will have the guts to spill. They never do. Must've been bad.

The last line of the article mentioning his role with Equity makes me think the Daily Mail are hinting the language he is being accused of saying might something political .

The Daily Mail has picked up the story and covered it in its own particular way (ie with no specific detail) for one reason alone......
Also how did it take two people to write an article which says almost nothing - and yet still manages to include factual errors?

Another tangent but Alan Hawke who is covering as Beast also covers Gaston and Lumiere. That’s three very different tracks to cover - wow!

I imagine he won’t be playing those roles again anytime soon unless he is only person available who knows one if those track and someone else is available who can do the Beast.

Seems quite unusual to have one actor have 3 1st cover principal roles - great opportunity for the 2nd covers who are more likely to get shows in this arrangement.

I do wonder if they will try and get a name or two if it’s does come to the Palladium to help sales and also get better publicity after the recent stories. Sam Bailey is only person in this with any non theatre world recognition.

True but theatre sales are not as good as they once were.
