Apologies if there’s already a thread for this, but I ‘played’ this last night and it was fun (although not sure it stacks up if you think about it too much after the fact.’ From their website:
‘Can you find Ivy? An immersive theatrical thriller. The at-home experience starts on Zoom, for you and up to five others. Be transported into a world of conspiracy, cults and corporate deceit.
Ivy Isklander has gone missing. The residents of Plymouth Point are concerned. Gather your team, and get your ticket to join the Residents Watch emergency meeting.’
It’s well done. We played with another couple and we’re all pretty technically literate, so we finished it quite fast (even though they were on an iPad which did seem to make things slightly harder.) I have a code for £5 off if anyone wants it.
We payed £40, the price doesn’t change if you have more players. They recommend up to six, four felt pretty good. I’d do another one of these in a heartbeat. I don’t think there’s any ‘replayability’ so you couldn’t really do the same one twice.
All in all, an enjoyable diversion and I’d like to see this do well. Seems to be getting good reviews.
Has anyone else done it? Or done anything similar?

Yes, I did this with some socially distanced friends a couple of months ago, four of us in total.
It’s a good bit of fun, and a nice way to “meet” up with people beyond the usual Zoom drinks and quizzes. I felt the structure of the game was weighted towards the “lead” team member, so it was a bit less cooperative than an escape room would typically have been, but the puzzles were fun, the story galloped along at quite a rate and it’s absolutely ingenious the way it uses the internet.
Also recommended.
