(3) is correct but I had forgotten about her, it wasn't the actor I was thinking of, so if anyone wants to add another go ahead. (7)(8) were the ones I was thinking of. Kathryn Hunter did play the two roles in (6) but could also be an answer to one of the others and then would have appeared twice, so she can only appear in one of those two places. |

3) Michelle Terry - but there's another
4)
5) Glenda Jackson (Kathryn Hunter also, but can't appear twice in the list)
6) Kathryn Hunter
7) Mark Rylance
8) Harriet Walter
(1) & (4) are tricky but the actors are well-known. The other answer for (3) is easier.

As an aside, I remember Kathryn Hunter playing Richard III - she was incredible in that role.

Just to finish this one, which I won, the missing actor was Ronald Pickup who played Rosalind in a famous NT production in 1967 and Lord Capulet in a notorious NT production in 2000.
