I remember last year there was a 2-for-1 offer for tickets for this. Has anyone seen any similar offers for this year?

I remember last year there was a 2-for-1 offer for tickets for this. Has anyone seen any similar offers for this year? They did have discounts the day before the show last year. So I'm hoping for the same this time.

Went round my friends house on Monday (he is a designer and prop builder) to discover he has been commissioned along with a colleague to make the trophies for West End Eurovision this year, he showed me the base of the trophy and the boxes they would be packaging them in, I'm hoping to see the finished results online! I was very excited for him!

Well this was an absolute joy last night. Great to see West End performers coming up with such creative and impressive performances in their spare time.
Phantom won for the second year running, performing Italy's 2015 entry, Grande Amore. It was good but my heart went out to Follies, including Janie Dee and Joanne Riding who did a stylish and beautiful performance of "L'oiseau et l'infant", the French entry from 1977. They came second in a close race. Can't find any videos online yet but I'm sure they will appear.
But this really is one of my highlights of the year - great Eurovision songs, fit dancers of all genders, superb singers, camp judging by the likes of Wayne Sleep and Bonnie Langford, and all the West End theatrical in-jokes you could possibly want. Bring on WEE 2020...

Did they announce the date for West End Bares at this event, like they did last year? Thanks 🙂

Hope this is a really good one. I have been to probably 6 of the last 9 and absolutely love them, however I was a bit disappointed by the small number of shows that participated in 2019. Seemed to be a lot less than usual. Hope the novelty hasn't worn off with the theatres as there have been some classic moments over the year. My all time favourites have been All Kinds of Everything sung by the cast of Once and Ding a Dong by the cast of BOM

I saw this posted on Book of Face last night and booked then - my buddy from Nebraska arrives that day; she and her daughter lived in the UK about 20 years ago and her daughter is crazy about Eurovision, I'm so pleased this ties in with her visit.
I've got so many fond memories of these evenings - Les Mis doing "Flying The Flag" - especially Sweeny Todd and One Step At A Time ... blooming glorious! I was front stalls and those dancers were so funny.

I have decided not to wait until there are any offers as missed out last year and as I need an aisle seat have gone ahead and booked a nice stalls seat. Lots of the best seats have either been sold or off sale, maybe those are the £110 VIP seats. To be honest its such a great night and a good cause I am more than happy paying full price which is still good value for what you get.

In entirely unsurprising news, this has now been "postponed".

Just had an email saying that it has been cancelled and refunds will be issued automatically - I guess with the uncertainty over when theatres will reopen they didn't want to risk another date and have it be postponed again. Also some musicals may not reopen, so the whole industry is in flux. What a shame. Here's to 2021...

The 2021 one will, I'm sure, be bigger and better.

Yeah me too, just gonna have to recreate this at home instead (got plenty of tin foil and comedy wigs) and look forward to 2021, or hopefully West End Drag perhaps in August.

Plus quite a few videos from previous years on you tube including my favourite which was Book of Mormon doing "ding a dong".
