Cycled past this today, and all around - forgotten what an epic plot of land this is on, and right next to Covent Garden and the Opera House. I can quite see how the whole area will be fabulous when Frozen opens.

Just received a letter from a lovely friend - the first proper letter of 2021 - letting me know that she's ok, how she's filling her time and filled with optimism about the year ahead and the hope that we can meet up again soon. Not only is it lovely to receive letters rather than emails but one with no negativity at all is bliss right now - and she celebrated her 90th birthday last May!

With the weeks all blurring into one, it would be easy to miss this year, but it is *that* day again. I thought my love of trees was unrequited. Seems I was wrong. I obviously couldn't see the wood for the trees!  Isn't Mother Nature fab? |
