Worked at home today so saw the latest Leave A Light On concert this afternoon.Danielle sang some of her own material as well as -

Two Out Of Three from BOOH
Tonight You’re Mine
I Know Where I’ve Been from Hairspray
and told an interesting story for SIX fans...between the two Sunday shows at the Arts,the cast do a ‘pick a song title’ out of a box and then sing it.Dani said that she picked ‘Maybe This Time’ from Cabaret recently and it went down well with everyone so she decided to include it in her concert today and it was indeed amazing.
She used a prop mike on a mike stand to make it look/feel like a real concert...a nice touch.
Dani has a fab voice...a real force of nature!
Hopefully more concerts next week 👍

I loved this - in fact of the three I managed to see, Louise Dearman and Cassidy Janson being the others, it's the one I enjoyed most. I did enjoy the other two but thought Danielle was the one who gave a performance as opposed to 'filmed in my home'. That said I'm so appreciative of all the people involved in this being able to do so, I wouldn't know where to start with the technology required and it must be incredibly difficult to do that at home with no audience reaction at all so good on all of them.

In fact on the back of these I've booked for Louise Dearman at Cadogan Hall (know it'll probably get postponed but still something to look forward to) and will probably do the same for Danielle's one at the Arts - all great for the performers as well as providing some much needed 'live' entertainment

Danielle's concert was the only one I've seen, so I can't compare to others, but I did enjoy it very much. Wonderful song choice and presentation. Can't wait for her solo album!
