Today was sweet potatoes fries, vegan chicken burger with garlic mushrooms, spinach and an orange after. I put in so much effort for lunch and the get lazy for tea.

My lunch was positively Sybaritic after 2 days of spam (not the email type). I had a third of a tin of Baxter's Thai vegetable soup (shared with family), a third of a demi French baguette with sliced cheese and tomato and small portion of pork pie with pickle. Then I had a tangerine.

Would a monkey really waste a banana by throwing it at someone though? Why do you think bananas are shaped like boomerangs, exactly, eh?! Not sure if that adheres to social distancing guidelines! I hope you'd at least disinfect it once you get it back!

Salads seem to be my lunches these days: yesterday it was a Thai-style vegetable, noodles and peanut dressing one, today a couscous based one (with carrots and cucumbers) topped with soft boiled eggs.
I know I should do better, but I am a little lazy to cook at the moment.

Crumpets with cream cheese, branston pickle and a cup a soup I tried toasted crumpets with humous and melted cheese on top yesterday. I do NOT recommend it. But it cleared out the leftovers.

Had a wee picnic with my flatmate for lunch. Pork pie, cheese, ham, bread, breadsticks, carrot sticks, hummus, tomatos, and a G&T. Lovely stuff. Stocks are well stocked around me, last missing jigsaw piece in the roll of yeast was discovered via Next Door at a health food place down the road. Can get it all up here: bread; eggs; all your usual meats; all fruit and veg, pasta. Both of us may be unemployed by this but at least we are eating well.

Rice noodles with soy sauce, bacon, shallots and some veg. Dinner was a takeaway pizza as felt we should support them through this, and their four cheese is fabulous.

Was it a satsuma? Or a clementine or a tangerine? I don’t know. It was a small orange. They call them easy peelers and i just go with it.
