Surprised there isn’t a thread for this film.
Most excellent, was wary of the high praise but it exceeded my expectations, the acting, the plot the filmography, everything about the film was as near perfect as can be.
After a few minutes the subtitles seemed to evaporate and the images and words became one as I became transfixed and the denouement was extraordinary as it unfolded in a way that was far from expected.
A worthy award winner and will unlikely see a better film for a long time.
Go in blind and let the film come to you as it is one hell of a ride.

I saw it at the weekend. After hearing mixed reviews I was dubious, but I loved it! Funny, provoking and disturbing in all the right places.

I watched it the other night. I was watching it in bed, starting it quite late at night and after 1 hour, i thought i'd better go to sleep, but that was just at the halfway mark when the story takes a turn and then i couldn't stop watching till the end!
Probably one of the best films i have seen in years. Twits and turns come at exactly the right moment and ratchets it to the very end.
After reading up about it, i was shocked to see that the house was a set built especially for this, It just looks so real.
I can't recommend this film enough.

A truly extraordinary film, and I can’t remember the last time I was able to say that. I truly believe Hollywood is not capable of making movies at this level at the moment. The casting was just perfect.
I went in knowing very little, which is the best way to see it, IMO.
Spectacular cinematography, so see it on the big screen if you are able to.

^Agreed...a multi-layered film of great depth and imagination.Characterisation is superb. The story develops with maturity and conviction and leads to a slam-bang finish that I didn’t predict.
