It's a shame two great singers had such distinctive voices that they had to hide them and this resulted in them sounding terrible and being voted off. I also agree that Lionfish was far, far better than firework even with the disguised voice. Robobunny for the win! But I have no idea who any of them are... Yes, a shame those 2 have gone out. Why they kept firework over lionfish is beyond me, but it's just silly fun at the end of the day. I though Will looked really well. I'm glad robobunny has a chance to sing on his own, always had a great voice. At the beginning of his clue package there was a lady with a clipboard who said " take one and MARK it"

As soon as someone plants the seed in your head it is obvious who people are. After listening back to Robobunny with my eyes shut (too amusing otherwise) it is clearly Gargoyle from Westlife. (We had pet names for them back in the day…potato, potato, potato, gargoyle & toad). Gosh I am awful.

I’m quite surprised Jonathan went straight in with his correct guess of Gloria Hunniford when it was blatantly Lenny Henry last year and week after week none of them said him. . I suspect that they only show some of the panel’s guesses. So perhaps Lenny Henry was named earlier last year, but they edited it to keep us guessing… That's what I assume too. I'd guessed Gloria, based on her singing voice sounding like her talking voice, so when Jonathan named her, not only was I convinced I was right, but I predicted she'd be the contestant going home. It is a risk for the contestants making a particular effort to disguise their voice. It worked for Katherine Jenkins, but her famous singing voice is the trained one, so presumably easier for her to sing in a poppy style without it sticking out too much and still sound good.

The panel will always eliminate the character they are most confident of getting right. Once we knew it was Will we could clearly recognise his voice and likewise Gloria has such a well known voice she was easier to spot.
The fun ones are if they are actors or performers who can really disquise their voice and do different accents, inflections so it can throw the panel.

Am I the only person here (yes) who thinks Joel Dommett with all his corny jokes and silly links, is NOT annoying but completely adorable! His hyper approach rather suits the silliness of this show - still enjoyable, but lockdown 2021 made it rather more watchable than this series.

Yes I agree, I think he's the perfect presenter for this - you can see he loves his job, he was getting really into singing along to Teenage Dirtbag!

Panda is 100% Natalie Imbruglia Yes. Not even up for debate. It's definitely her! I was none the wiser when Poodle took his mask off, but I still think it's a good, surprising booking and someone who's not on the reality TV circuit. That's something this show does really well compared to most reality shows who just parachute in Love Islanders etc.

I was torn between three for Poodle, h3 sounded exactly like Gary Barlow one week, then Mika another, and Tom from Keane, so I got close but never committed!
Robobunny is Mark from Westlife, that's the only other I'm certain of.

I was less convinced that Robobunny is Mark Feehily this week... it didn't sound as strong as I would have expected Mark to be.
It was also still sound like two people!

I saw a spoiler for this week before I'd finished watching last week's episode. Knowing who Poodle was, it was obvious listening to him. He has such a distinctive voice. I've seen him live at least half a dozen times, but the clues are so obscure it really takes the fun out of it. My dad managed to guess, only after I said it's someone he should know. It still took him about 3/4 of the song.
It's getting to the stage where the clues might as well be what they had for breakfast because they're almost that obscure. I really only go by the voice now, and that's only helpful once some of the guesses point you in the right direction.

The clues were leading to Mika but a lot were false as far as Poodle was concerned. Often people are guessing more by the voice than by the clues.

It's like the whole thing going on with shock twists in television and film nowadays. The foreshadowing should lead you to the conclusion, if you manage to guess in advance you feel vindicated, or on a re-watch you can see the signposts leading up to it all along. Whereas now, if someone guesses the ending it has to be changed, because logic be damned we can't have the ending be spoiled by following a plot thread to its natural conclusion, we need the shock value for the headlines.
So instead of throwing in some read herrings to distract and make us doubt ourselves, we're left with the most obscure facts not even the biggest fans would know, so we have no idea. Then we're just left with the voice itself- oh if they're not disguising that! Surely the whole idea is to be able to guess them?

The clues are generally pretty obscure, but this week they did make a point of showing that Robo Bunny was perched on a stool…

I think even the clues on 321 were easier to work out !!! 😂😂 where dusty and Ted when you need them Those clues on 321 were ridiculous! Half the reason Ted raced through the explanations so quickly were so people didn't realise that the clues meant nothing of the sort.
I loved 321. You always got a turn, often Stephanie Lawrence or the Stutz Bear Cats (which Graham Bickley was in)

Ted's youngest son did a one man show about his father circa 2019. He was also in a panto I saw later that year.

Traffic Cone is definitely Aled Jones. You can hear his Welsh accent coming through when he's speaking.

I can hear it more in his singing voice and think he’s doing a good job of distraction in his videos. Robobunny - Mark from Westlife. One of the clues in the video after he sang was Grease and I think he performed in it when he was younger with other members of Westlife. Mushroom is the one I’m really stuck with now.
