It’s on itv now.
Apparently it’s celebrities whose identity is top secret, dressed in costumes, who come on and sing. The panel, Davina McColl, Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora and someone I don’t know have to guess who it really is.
It’s very trippy.

Well, if anyone knows a thing or two about trippy it's Davina ...

I’m assuming the judge I don’t know is the person who devised the show. The Korean Simon Cowell maybe. This is an established franchise it would seem. It’s hideous.... but I haven’t switched it off 🙂

Unicorn is definitely Bessie Barrowman.

The Chameleon certainly filled his leggings to good effect.
I can't stop watching this strange piece of television... it is just so crazy

I used to think Ken Jeong was amusing until I saw him do a show in London last year (and got an extended replay of the same old schtick), so I’m going to give this a very wide berth.

I record everything I've any interest in and skip through most things or watch at speed with subtitles. Started this at 19.55 and have already caught up. Unfunny, unengaging and boring. The chap from the American version is particularly irritating. If they are going to eliminate one celebrity a week I cannot see this holding its audience that long.
Also too similar to The Voice following shortly

I found that very entertaining. Stupid, but entertaining.

Ok but WHO is he? If he didn’t devise the format and he has a fairly bland (in showbiz terms) CV why would he be on saturday night prime time tv? I’m missing something?

This week it had a certain novelty value. Next week there will be six different singers in different costumes.
After that will we just see the same people in the same costumes singing not particularly well and being eliminated one a week or is there more to it than that ?

I think 60 minutes would be long enough but it is strangely addictive

I have to say, and to my utter surprise, I loved this! OK, I recorded it and fast forwarded through the boring bits, but I'm hooked and can't wait to find out who is who. Roll on part 2 tomorrow.
Not keen on the Ken bloke, but that's probably because I don't know him. I'm sure I'll soon get fed up with the other judges too!
I agree that it's a bit much having The Voice following on immediately afterwards. Yes, I've recorded that too but haven't got round to watching yet.

I immediately said Robert Rinder for Hedgehog, but nobody seems to agree. I am hooked!

Surprisingly good performances from nearly all the singers, and I agree that the format is strangely compelling. Having said that, I would be happy just watching Joel Dommett filling his tumber dryer!
