I think Hedgehog may be David Essex.

I enjoyed it this week. So Monster is definitely Cee Lo Green, he wrote and produced ‘Don’t Cha’. I can’t believe Unicorn is Chris Colfer from Glee, didn’t see that one coming at all (he’s a big best selling kids fantasy author in the US now). I loved Glee. Octopus had totally thrown me but now they mentioned the dales it’s got to be the actress who played Tricia Dingle. She was in Emmerdale, has done the jungle and the Jason Donovan clue reminds me she actually did an episode of Neighbours last year in scenes with one of Paul Robinson’s sons (which would make him Scott’s Robinson’s nephew). Duck should have gone. The woman can’t sing! Kevin, I think you mean Lisa Riley.

I agree that the clues for Unicorn definitely make it seem like Chris Colfer, I was less convinced though by the singing as I don’t think that sounds like him?

I know, the voice doesn’t sound like him much, but Kurt was always quite falsetto which they could be avoiding here. I just listened back to when they did Babooshka and I think the chorus sounds a lot more ‘Kurt’. Unless it’s all a red herring and nothing to do with Glee!

Kevin, I think you mean Lisa Riley. Sheree Murphy played Trisha in Emmerdale. That’s her! Yes, I believe it must be Sheree based on the clues. I don’t think it’s Lisa Riley.

I agree they are definitely making it seem like someone from Glee and he fits the clues more than anyone else. I know Neil Patrick Harris was mentioned and I think magic was given as a clue, which he’s known for but I can’t imagine him being on this show. The second guessing is what’s keeping me hooked!

Sarah Jessica Parker guest starred in an episode or two of Glee, and sang Let's Have a Kiki (or whatever it's called) by Scissor Sisters, so I'm still thinking it's Jake Shears. He also co-wrote All the Lovers for Kylie, which would fit with the "written for famous people" clue.

Duck is definitely Skin from skunk anansie as it sounds identical and the clues fit. I dont think unicorn is jake shears although some of the dance moves a reminiscent of him.. Chris Colfer is a good shout. I had a thought that Octopus could be Malandra Burrows, she can sing and she also went in the Jungle and was covered in fish guts as soon as she went in.

A few episodes in and I am now rather enjoying it: despite all it’s shameless tackyness and despite the host. Refreshing to have Donny Osmond on the panel instead of the intensely pointless irritating one: well, aside from Ross.
I thought at one stage the Dales one is Verity Rushworth who played whatsername in Emmerdale: a good singer. The comment about “truth” in one of her VTs swayed me. But maybe too obvious or a red herring. But I change my mind as the wind changes direction.
Amused by the clue/red herring with Hedgehog in his VT: a cricket ball on the table with Michael written over it. Toying with us with misdirection!

I was thinking Jake Shears as Unicorn because he sang 'sharp dressed man' (sharp like shears, ahhhh) but it didn't seem to fit with the Glee comment. Now confessor has explained the SJP/Kiki connection I'm convinced. It seems like the right body shape for him as well. I hadn't thought about Skin for Duck, that's good detective work dazzerlump! Jason Manford tweeted a picture implying he was eating Hedgehog crisps during broadcast, the cheeky scamp. Michael Ball refused to confirm or deny it was him when he presented The One Show last week.

Reading twitter and what I don't think Hedgehog is either Michael Ball or Alfie Boe... def not Alfie having watched a few youtube videos of him singing it really doesn't sound like him. It doesn't sound that much like Michael Ball. I haven't heard Rufus hound but then clues don't really match. I have found Jason Manford singing if anything its the closest. Thats my bet. Even if anyone is or not they are not going to say it.
I still think Fox is Denise Van Outen even if its the only one I get right 😂
The show is cheesy but fun to watch I mean it taps into that mystery thing and everyone is talking about it. Even those who hate it still will talk about it if twiter is anything to go by.

It’s a double elimination on this evening’s show.

I think Octopus is either Katherine Jenkins or Charlotte Church. Fox is definitely Denise Van Outen. Queen Bee could be Jade or Jesse from Little Mix. Not too sure about the rest.

Shame that Unicorn went last night as he was one of my favourites. I agree with others that Fox is almost definitely Denise Van Outen. Not sure about Hedgehog as they keep trying to misdirect with the clues! I’m guessing Jason Manford or Rufus Hound at the moment.

I should really hate this show, but it's weirdly watchable, though the only one I've managed to actually guess was Skin (just from the voice rather than the clues.)
Of the ones who are left I think the Fox probably is Denise Van Outen, especially with the foot resting on the radio this week. I'm taking the Octopus' mention of going back in time for a job to be a reference to Charlotte Church showing up in a Heatbeat Christmas special (how do I remember that when I forget what I watched last week?). Not sure about the others. Does Jason Manford have the range of the Hedgehog?
I was wondering how they keep the identites secret, so it makes sense that I just read that they do the build up to the reveal with the audience then boot them out for the actual unmasking.

I think it's Katherine Jenkins - she was in an episode of Doctor Who. She also made a guest appearance in Emmerdale which would explain an earlier clue about The Dales.

Katherine Jenkins has a really annoying simpering laugh so I'm pretty sure it's her giggling away like a mad hyena.

I’m convinced Queen Bee is Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
Denise’s speaking voice was unmistakable.

But they clearly show the unmasked singer performing in front of the audience, so how does that work? That's a good point. I read that Joel Dommett said it in an interview (which I haven't watched.) Just finished watching tonight's on catch-up, then saw your comment so had a quick look back at it. Pre-reveal there's lots of wide shots of the audience from various angles. Post-reveal it's all shot quite near to the stage, there's a couple of weird angles, and you only really see a small number of people between the stage and the 'judges'. There doesn't appear to be anyone on the opposite side of the stage by that little walkway they use to get backstage. Also FWIW I saw Curtains this afternoon and while I knew Jason Manford could carry a tune, he was a stronger singer by far than I think I've given him credit for.
