I was sent this scoop anonymously so it's up to you if you believe it or not lol
A new revival of the musical The Secret Garden will allegedly be coming to the London Palladium in 2020.
The cast will reportedly include Ramin Karimloo, Lucie Jones, Lauren Samuels, Jac Yarrow and Emily Carey.
The Secret Garden is a musical based on the classic 1911 novel of the same name by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The musical’s script and lyrics are by Marsha Norman, with music by Lucy Simon.
This is strictly rumoured at this point but OMG if this turns out to be true!!!

Was originally done by the RSC in Stratford and sold really well. But transferred to the Aldywch I think and failed - pity has some lovely music.

This seems possible as a concert - but the cast seems a little too good for a run of the show (and also I don't see when it could happen, with Joseph in the summer, and Palladium Panto)

If it happens it will just be a concert.

Makes sense that it could be a concert as said and in early 2020 maybe? Lucie seemed to hint that she has a few things coming up in her break from Waitress

Take my money now. I love this show. I pray it's the original version, not the RSC version, and definitely not the newly revised version with songs cut.

Sure there are 10 weeks before Joseph and Panto but why would you mount a production for 10 weeks

I would love a full production, but a concert would still be good, as the music is beautiful in this show!

If it happens it will just be a concert. London Musical Theatre Orchestra? It's the sort of thing they'd do.

I'd love it if this rumour is only half-right and Secret Garden is a concert with that cast but at Cadogan Hall on a Sunday.
Exactly the sort of show Lambert Jackson stage brilliantly and successfully at that prestigious venue.

Lucie Jones has a project coming up on the 16th of February (a Sunday!) with LMTO so it could well be this but the way she got fans to sign up to hear news makes it sound like it’s something solo rather than part of a bigger project.

Palladium would be very ambitious for a run as I doubt many people have ever heard of it and the stars are MT names not household names. Even if concert I'm sure there will be seats to fill at the end. I think they did a couple of songs at west end live this year and I wasn't very struck by them unfortunately.

One off concert - nice. Run? You'd be out of your mind. If nothing else, this show is way too small for the Palladium. Whilst i agree that the Palladium is way too big for a run, I'd disagree that its a small show. i guess it could be done big or small, but it takes in plenty of locations, big cast, decent orchestra. I guess i am biased because i love the show and want to see it done justice on a decent scale. It would be perfect for Regents Park. Obviously Ramin would play Archibald Craven, which of the girls will play Lily or Martha? if it was a one off concert, then Martha should be played by Jane Mcadonald. No joke. She'd be amazing. Who said Martha should he young??

I keep hoping for a revival, but each attempt fizzles out, it seems.

From the more info that's come through. I'm thinking that is now a one-off concert production from Lambert Jackson.
Similar to their last production of Doctor Zhivago.
Though I'm thinking it will be held at the London Palladium not Cadogan Hall this time.
I would of loved a full production but this will no less be amazing x

Great news.
Good to see Lambert Jackson moving up a notch from the Other Palace and Cadogan Hall. Their concert shows are the best thing to happen to Sundays in theatreland for years. Dream casting too.

Not sure the Palladium is the right venue in terms of both size and the fact it might struggle to sell, but I’d watch Ramin sing anywhere tbf 😆

The presale for this has started now if you're on the Palladium mailing list. 3pm and 7:30pm shows.
£107.50 for the seats at the front, but there are standing tickets available for £29 if you're on a budget.
Unfortunately I already have plans that weekend or I would have booked.

That's a lot more expensive than Cadogan Hall prices and a much bigger venue to fill twice I'm minded to wait in the hope of some dynamic pricing downwards nearer the time. Seems to happen with single seats

More positively i would think, especially for people like me outside London, it makes the travelling a lot easier as public transport on a Sunday is so fraught with disruption. Means they can do two shows too.

I had an absolute mare trying to book this on Wednesday. No priority booking link on either of the emails I've registered with Lambert Jackson and The Palladium. Lambert Jackson were great on Twitter tho, and gave me the email of someone at The Palladium who emailed me a link. But then the pay button gave error messages, tried different seats, error message, different browsers, error message ... Finally booked about 2 hours after I was emailed the link, around 13.30. The presale link from The Palladium came through at 15.25.
Booked and looking forward to it.

I didn't get my priority email until about 3.30 either. However, I didn't book then - held off until today. I now seem to be going on the Saturday afternoon, knowing nothing whatsoever about the show!
