Single stalls ticket available for todayI've injured myself. Can't make it to the matinee at 2.30pm. If you can offer face value of £25 that would be handy, current dynamic price is north of £100 Wyndham's is next door to Leicester Square tube - if you can make it drop me message (will need your email). Just messaged you! I am at a loose end before this evening's Donmar show I just put this the Noticeboard, can one of you pm me if it sells please

Maybe my social media algorithm is really on the blink because I had literally not heard about this production until 5 minutes ago when I walked past the theatre and saw the sign!

This was a complete turnaround from last night at The Duchess. Where that fell short, this was excellent in almost every way I've added my 5 star vote to the poll above. As I'm also about to do for The Fear Of 13. This was a good day!
It was a case of odd timing, given the good word I had been looking at when I might be able to see this at any price I'd consider reasonable and quite simply couldn't find anything. I thought about nosebleeds for the last matinee in January but the view on Seatplan was poor for the price they wanted. So figured it was not to be.. but then I saw Andy's post and worked out I'd have maybe 20 minutes to get ready to get to the train station and my quiet afternoon would sort itself out nicely. So a huge thanks to Andy for posting up and then for sending on the ticket so quickly. Hopefully a fast recovery!
It really is the tense thriller it is billed as, it does away with any hint of tension in the election almost straight away and then really dials into the growing shadow that something is wrong and then the slow slow falling apart. The visceral reaction from the audience and the gasps as people started to understand what Oedipus had just picked up.. more than one person covering their eyes.
No June Watson today - despite being listed on the cast board tho...that said she was indisposed for the 'evening' performance.

Fantastic drama from the front row. You get great close-up acting tho you don't see any ankles or shoes, and miss a significant bit near the end which happens on the floor. You're too close for the video at the start but never mind. Great show and shock images at the end.

One of the easiest five stars I’ve ever clicked on this board. Manville and Strong are giving what I’m sure are the best performances I’ll see all year and Icke’s production is like seeing this story for the very first time. Each poster here should be able to give one show a year six stars to show that we mean it when something is THAT good.

Inside No. 9 doesn't start until 1/18, any chance of this extending?

Hi everyone! I’m really looking forward to catching this show and will be in London in December. I noticed that Saturday evenings have more availability than other performance so I was curious if there’s anything I should know about Saturday performances. I’m eyeing seats in the second or third row of the stalls—any tips or insights would be much appreciated. Thanks so much!

It’s not a very “Saturday evening in the West End” show, plus people tend to be busy at parties/friend catchups and the like on weekends in December in the run up to Christmas. Thus why you’re seating emptier seating plans. But more availability for you. So a win.

So does anybody know if the front row already been released and sold out for this or are they releasing it closer to the dates?

Anyone use the under 30 tickets? how strict are they on that? I’ve got some booked for the end of the month. I always book them for DMT productions if I can and have never been asked for ID, but “Under 30s only” is printed in bold on the tickets so if it’s an eagle eyed usher they might pull you up on it. I should add, I am under 30!

Wowsers. I know I haven’t seen as much as some of you guys this year but this has to be highlight. Seriously well done. The modernisation was for me quite perfect and on point, the writing excellent and the performances are magnificent.

A clever adaptation and certainly a memorable production with two very strong (excuse the pun!) leads. Quite an intense experience from the front row. The two hours really flew by and I was engrossed throughout. Will be interesting to see how the Old Vic production compares. Big fan of Lesley Manville, she’s been consistently excellent in everything I’ve seen her in.

Wow. Just reminded me of Robert Icke’s genius, this one. Terror creeping in silently and until you know it it just grabs you by the throat.. Just outstanding, experiencing it from the front row adds a lot seeing those emotions up close even though you miss little bits here and there, it’s really worth it. Some visuals will stay will me for a long time. I want a t shirt just like his daughter was wearing during the first half of the show, they should put them on sale. Or maybe they did already P.S. my friend has a single front row ticket for sale for Nov 5, pm me if interested (she was not registered at this forum until tonight, just waiting for her account to be confirmed).

Please don’t offer tickets for sale outside of the Noticeboard which has its own rules. This is for the protection of our members. Thanks.

Do they do any discounts on the day or is it selling out even on a Monday? Might as well answer it myself. I was watching the prices today and they went down by almost 50% few hours before the show.

I think this may be important. I haven't paid attention to the DP algorithm but if this is repeated it is strong evidence for one way to game DP (in some market circs).

Because a friend of mine has booked for this post Xmas I checked the prices as might want to join( I rarely revisit but this was v good) but i see that the cost of the equivalent seats I had enjoyed was twice a much as I had paid, over 2x in fact. I didn’t click on every spot so I may be a few quid out but I couldn’t see anything I could afford or wanted to pay despite the brilliance of this production. What is going on? Obviously they are selling the tix. Obviously I am wrong in thinking these prices will drive people away. Can anyone explain the economics of all this?
