I booked Blue Man Group instead after seeing what my approx. £40 would get me for each. Blue Man?! Didn't know they were coming back. Does anyone have a pre-sale link they don't need that they'd be happy to share please? BMG is doing a mini UK Tour - www.aegpresents.co.uk/event/blue-man-group/

Yeah I don't think these prices are unreasonable considering the team onstage and off... Plus this is a shorter run than the aborted 2020 run.

Glad to pay £45 for this and no more Staunton is such a humourless and po faced actor And her most recent association with the car crash which is the last season of The Crown Isn’t endearing in any way So you are really going to love her in Dolly I’m sure… I will be interested to see it I have never seen her in a naturally warm or funny role And rarely see her smile on or off stage

Booked a couple of mid stalls for first preview. Fingers crossed it doesn't get cancelled. I don't think Imelda would allow such shoddiness.

Glad it wasn't just me struggling with the site, not loading the seats, date (month) selection sticking, timed out twice. Thought it was my browser and was kicking myself for not running a check yesterday. I've got more expensive seats than I'd wanted but first night / last night. So am "happy". Calming cuppa called for. Only got around to checking my credit card an hour ago and there are 3 payments made - when I though it had crashed mid-payment it had actually processed before the confirmation came up on screen. What a faff!! I'll be giving a call tomorrow to sort the second ticket for the last night.

Dolly is my least favourite Jerry Herman score by some margin (in fact, the only one I don't own on CD). Had considered going as it's so long since it's been done but having seen the prices I'm happy to sit it out.

I wonder what the general sale will be like, although I have had numerous "sign up for the presale" email and notifications over several platforms.

She was truly excellent in Good People - it was a great production. I hope it’s revived at some point. I also enjoyed her in Gypsy - despite not loving the show so much. I thought the band for Gypsy were spectacular. Made up for the constantly squealing child!

Jodie Jacobs as Ernestina Money is INSPIRED Shame it clashes with Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder, really liked her in that.

Looks to be quite a big cast, which is promising.

Imelda said on radio 2 this morning that it's a 21 piece orchestra which is great

Fingers crossed the set and costumes are also worthy of the Palladium

Refreshing to see a cast of grown ups. How is this selling? I see Emily Lane is in this. Is David Ian one of the producers then?

I think its going to be huge. Big cast, big orchestra and, I expect, lavish costumes and sets. Also a new opening number.

I doubt it’ll be spartan, but with only a ten week run I’m not sure how it can be that lavish unless they’re just flushing money down the drain.

Could they be re-using Broadway sets?

The set designer isn't known for lavish sets which is what concerns me a bit

Lord no - they'd never get the rights for that.
New production.
