Wow. It's certainly not going to be for everyone, but I'm really excited for a chance to see The Sunset Limited.
Given the set up is simply two people having an increasingly tense, heated (and unsubtle) discussion in an apartment, I guess the success will largely depend on which two actors are brought in. The television adaptation has Samuel L Jackson and Tommy Lee Jones, both in cracking form from what I can remember, so the bar is pretty high.

Didn't this theatre used to be The Comic Strip in the 80s? I've booked to see one of their new comedy impro nights Yes Queens with the cast of Showstopper.

Walked past it yesterday, I think the hoardings were still up last time I was there. This is the entrance, the theatre is over the glass bridge in the building on the right. Big change to how it looked before ... And yes, this is the former Raymond Revuebar which was also for a time the home of The Comic Strip. More here including a photo of the theatre interior. Looks amazing! www.theguardian.com/stage/2019/oct/03/boulevard-theatre-london-new-soho-venue-west-end-announces-first-shows-ghost-quartetAnyway .. interesting season. Much better way of launching a new theatre than the Turbine's approach of announcing one show at a time. Bit pricey but the "roulette tickets" do give a cheap option.

Does anyone know when they will be announcing their smaller events, such as their Music Concerts? I thought this might have been in the main season announcement.

General seats on sale! Trying out the Roulette option for both The Sunset Limited and The Effect.
It might be handy to know that the Boulevard 11.00 general sale actually began at 10.55 and the website even tells you this when you go through to select seats. Had mine booked by 10.57.

I like the look of the season. Kudos to get the next Lucy Prebble. Lesson learned from Poison at the Old Vic - book Prebble near the end of the run!

It's not a new Lucy Prebble, is it? Revival - was at the NT in 2012 (HOW long ago???). So at least it's finished.
