I've just seen that my label thing on the left now says that I'm a senior member. Presumably it's just because I passed some threshold of time spent on the board, or number of comments, but I like to think that a secret cabal of the highest echelon of TheatreBoard elite meet every full moon and voted.
I'm glad to have joined many of you already there, and can't wait to see what the secret rituals and undoubtedly high financial perks are!

I became a senior (500 Posts) a few months ago, still waiting for my Senior Member benefits
Not sure what the benefits are but does show people that I have nothing better to do than spend too much time talking Theatre and should not be approached at the Theatre as discussing the minutia of Plays I have seen could cure insomnia with the exception of fellow members as the conversation can sometimes be better than the play.

Like we are going to tell a mere "senior member" anything... there are layers my dears, layers upon layers... ....right old crusty ones. I, of course, am calling down from the cherry on the top.

I, of course, am calling down from the cherry on the top. Did you climb up, or were you dropped down? Of course some TheatreBoard members, mentioning no names, are both senior AND senior.

I was told that one of the benefits of senior membership was that one could dance naked round a may pole on Seven Dials. However, the police constable who arrested me obviously wasn't up to speed.

You can dance naked round a May Pole on Seven Dials. Nobody made any promises that it would go well.

Maybe that privilege has been revoked since Dress Circle left the Seven Dials area so there is no longer anywhere particularly stagey in the vicinity!
