So now cast change has been in place for around two months, how is Elena Skye? Really interested to see how she is considering this is her West End debut, I loved Amy Lennox when I saw it I wasn't crazy about the show, but loved Elena.

This is has just been released for the Australian production, where the Angels' names are revealed and are different to the Broadway counterparts (Whitty Bantour etc.) do the West End Angels have names also?

I think in the programme they're just called 'Union Jack Angel', 'Backflip Angel' etc so maybe the drag names are unofficial!

Big fan of David Hunter but have yet to see him in the role. He sang Soul of a Man on the radio a few days ago though, www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04b8rqgat 22:05 approx

If anyone missed my "Bad Behaviour at a Show" post, I saw it again a couple of weeks ago. Walking through the maze of Charing Cross walkways to my platform there was a huge poster on the wall of Matt Henry and the Angels; couple walking in front of me stopped to look at it - they'd just seen the show too. "Which one was Cyndi Lauper" said the guy, "dunno" said the girl "she must be 70 by now, and none of them looked that old".

What are the chances of getting dayseats for a Wednesday matinee? I looked in the website too and there are loads of seats available so do The you sell those too at £25?
Also could we get there for 9:30 and get seats?
Thanks

George, every time I've tried the lottery for midweek they've offered me £28 for good stalls seats if I didn't win. If you don't have your heart set on front row, that would probably be an option.

I was thinking of lottery too but then I realised the lottery isn't announced until around midday and I don't want to risk not winning then finding out there's no dayseats left, if you get what I mean? Id rather sit in good stall seats compared to front row to refrain from having to look up, do box office sell £25 stall seats on the day if they haven't been sold?

I've only tried walking up to the box office at weekends (when they didn't offer me £25 seats), but I've never had a problem with a midweek show. The £28 seats offer seems to be standard during the week if you don't win, so it's not the risk of if you don't win lottery you don't get a seat, you just don't get a front row one. Of course, it's worth double checking that they're still doing it (easiest way is probably to enter the lottery the day before to see if you get sent the offer), but it's never failed me yet.

I've never seen anyone turned away empty handed as extra seats are regularly sold. Indeed I turned up at 9:55 once hoping to not get a front row but still a dayseat and it was so quiet I got one anyway! Also they're £20 now, not £25.

I presumed the box office opened at 10:00 like most ones and didn't know this one opened at 10:30. I didn't think it would be busy at midweek so we may get there for 9:45 instead! I'm honestly not fussed about front row so I'm quite happy to get a good dress/stall seat as long as they go for £20 too, do they? I'm sure they wouldn't hold back seats that haven't been sold on the day?

The box office does open at 10 but they don't start selling day seats until 10:30. They will let you wait inside from 10am on though.
I last day seated on a Saturday 2 weeks ago and even the people who arrived just before 10 got tickets (not front row).

I mean if people got seats and arrived that late on a Saturday, I'm sure a midweek will be fine considering I've checked the available seats for that day and there are loads. Apart from dayseats, are the remaining seats they sell good and still at £20?

I got there at 8:45am. There were 4 people in front and about 20 in line by 9:45am. I'm sure midweek will be less busy. I don't know what seats they sold once front row had gone. But someone asked at 10 if everyone in line would get a ticket at day seat price and the lady at the box office said yes.

TKTS sell seats for around £39 so it is obviously better to go to the Adelphi box office for £20 seats but I just want to check whether the seats that are sold after the front row are gone are still discounted and aren't full price anymore (£69 etc)??

Can anyone tell me what time lottery winners are had my sorry at 3.30 but a friend is still waiting? Whats the leg room at the front?I don't recall it being that bad when I saw it from the front row. Then again, I was slightly mesmerised by Killian Donnelly in his underpants. I could have developed gout and not noticed it to be fair.

Just got home from seeing it this afternoon for a second time - WOW! I love this show! First saw the show in January with original cast so this time round there was a new cast. The cast are superb. Matt Henry remains my favourite - he's incredible!! So amazing in that role! Paul Ayres was on for Charlie and he is extraordinary too - great voice! Wanted to see David Hunter but Paul is amazing, especially being the understudy. Elena Skye was good as Lauren, she's got a very good voice. Amy Lennox still remains my favourite Lauren and that's nothing against Elena but I think Amy will always be the best. For a West End debut, Elena is great! Cordelia Farnworth is also a very, very good Nicola! She fits the character so well. The whole ensemble are great and the new angels are all amazing!! Got the last remaining dayseats. We wanted 3 but there were only two available. Had to then get a seat directly behind which wasn't bad at all. The lady in the box office was going to sell it to us for normal price until her colleague told her to just sell it at day seat rate which was great! I wonder if they are supposed to sell non-dayseats for regular price? Anyway the view at the front is great! I was very scared it would be too near but for £20 you can't go wrong! It's also great as the characters look at you and the angels all wink, blow kisses to the front row as do the other characters in the finale. Arrived at the box office at 10:15 and got the last seats! Overall such a fun show, I've heard rumours it could be closing in the next year or two so that's a shame! It must be very popular still - was packed out for a midweek matinee! Lots of coach trips and ladies outings were there too. 5 Stars

I wonder if they are supposed to sell non-dayseats for regular price? It's about maximising revenue. Would they rather have £20 in the box office now than risk an empty seat that night? We forget just how sharp box office teams are. They are actually very bright business people and good salesfolk too. They have to be as their jobs depend on it. I think you're being generous. I've met several idiot box office people who'd rather have an empty seat.

I once just missed out on a dayseat allocation in a theatre far from full, but the box office would not be flexible, even when I said that I was heading down the road to another production I was also interested in which I knew would still have dayseats (which it did).

I find it quite a lot actually, the Kinky Boots box office sold me an u claimed lottery ticket an hour before the show once for £20.
The Dominion literally sold the last dayseat before I approached the window and refused to sell any other seats at dayseat price. They wouldn't even match the TKTS price so I ended up getting it from there.
