The long rumored transfer is happening in the Spring of 2020. Opening at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, previews start February 13th with a March 12th opening. No word on when tickets go on sell or casting, but I suspect it’s going to be the Chicago/Boston cast. SiX on Broadway

“This is obviously the craziest thing that’s ever happened to us,” Ms. Moss, who is 25, said in an interview. She had never even seen a Broadway show until she visited New York earlier this year; Mr. Marlow, who is 24, had seen a few productions, starting with Cirque du Soleil’s “Paramour,” and came up with the idea for “Six” while daydreaming during a poetry class at Cambridge University. www.nytimes.com/2019/08/01/theater/six-musical-broadway.html

How fantastic that what was a tiny Edinburgh show can do this.

Wow.

Odd choice. I hope they aren't over-exposing. Broadway is surely the big hitter.

Captive audience, short show, geographically diverse audience who can spread word of mouth quickly. But yeah, it is becoming ubiquitous!

The cruise was booked ages ago, way before Broadway was confirmed. Different cast, not really something they need to worry about selling, and if anything it just helps spread the word of mouth from people all around the world who will happen to see the show on a cruise they're going to anyway. It's a pretty great thing when you think about it!

I wonder if the US producers are thinking about a Las Vegas production? I've read about Broadway productions being massively shortened for Vegas but presumably this is already the right length. I assume they will wait until they can legitimatly advertise it as "Direct from Broadway"

If past history is a relevant guide to shows that land on the strip, could Six be sustained being cut to 20 minutes.

It’s been in previews for the last few days and the only noticeable change is the audience isn’t allowed to film the Megasix. The line about getting your phone out has been change to everyone start clapping.

Better costumes and a MUCH better lighting rig too. Cleves apparently has a new costume reveal in the 'take my fur' pause.
Only very positive raves thus far x

Super bad timing that Broadway shut due to coronavirus on their opening night!

Super bad timing that Broadway shut due to coronavirus on their opening night! I felt so bad for them! It shouldn't effect the show in anyway, hopefully it will just make them more eager to see it once it reopens!

Do you think once Broadway reopens, that first night they will class as their opening night, or will they reschedule a 'new' opening night once things reopen?
