Apologies,I spent a wonderful summer once many eons ago working in a pub in St Ives and years later used to work with Duke Of Edinburgh candidates in Perranporth and had a wild romance with a waitress at the big hotel on the headland in Newquay....so I love Cornwall but not Poldark and certainly not the dreary Mr Clunes....Drog yw genev! I didn't know they'd auditioned for the Duke of Edinburgh. I always assumed they'd chosen Phillip for his tact.

It can be strange how these things go. The thread started with a gently glowing comment, followed by a succession of "This is absolute rubbish. I'm sticking with it!"
And even odder, as a result of those comments I'm considering giving it a go.
