Don Tickles played Mr Potato Head. Latefortheoverture was lamenting the lack of Mrs Potato Head. Two different characters.

I finally got around to seeing this today.
One of my favourite lines, after the puncture: "Daddy's going to say some words now".
I love what they did with Bo Peep. She makes a great practical and down-to-earth character, and I think she might just be my favourite character of all four films.
{Spoiler - click to view} And I love that her life offers an alternative to what appeared from the first two films to be only two ultimate outcomes for a toy: destruction or landfill. From TS2 onwards there's always been this shadow over everything from the knowledge that all children grow up and any toy's happiness is only temporary, and now Bo Peep comes along with another option.

I saw this last week and I did enjoy it, but I feel like it works better if you look at it as a film of its own and not part of the original films. My main reason being the cast. Apart from Woody, Bo, and to an extent Buzz, all of the classic characters such as the Potatoes, Hamm, Rex, Jessie are sidelined and not really given much to do apart from hold up Bonnie's family to buy Woody some time. The new characters are given centre stage in this film. I really liked the new characters with Gabby Gabby being my favourite. She had a lot of depth to her character and I wish we could have seen more of her. Duke Caboom was a fun character. Oddly enough my family thought it was James Marsden voicing him and not Keanu Reeves. Hated the Bensons. *shudders*. I liked the new Bo. They've changed her character so much since 2, but it's for the better. She was cautious and unmemorable before, but now that she's been given a starring role, it allows her character to develop into a true personality. EDIT: Just forgot to mention that I really enjoyed the recurring gag of Buttercup wanting Bonnie's dad to go to jail. {Spoiler - click to view} I knew that Woody would leave at the end after a friend told me, not knowing I hadn't seen it yet. But I could see several signs pointing towards it - from Bo leaving him a space in the box at the start, to Bonnie excluding him, to Bonnie's dad stepping on him. He had no purpose with Bonnie and was obviously unhappy there, hence why he left.
