I’m with the others on this. It took a while for me to explain the setup to a younger member of the family in regards to the angled set pieces. I think it would have worked better had they have kept the original angle on show, as is done in Bank Robbery.
Did enjoy tonight’s but not the best. Dog moments did make me chuckle.

Just caught up with tonight’s final episode. I really wasn’t keen on the angled parts. Like others, I thought it was done better in Bank Robbery. The dog gag was the definite highlight for me.
Overall, the WW2 episode for me was the strongest episode of the series.

Some inspired moments with a lot of padding.....but oh all the long hair, wonderful.

Loved the lager beer, the dog and Nancy losing her fake breasts. I wonder if the dog falling over repeatedly was planned or just happened on set, it had a more spontaneous feel to it than the rest.

I caught up with all of them yesterday. My faves were the courtroom one and the war one. I appreciated the technical aspect of the last episode but it wasn't my fave. I feel like the war episode was more like something you could see them putting on stage so that's why i liked it. The issue here is overkill. They have a set of tricks and you can take it so many times but there will be a point it just gets tired.

I thought the courtroom was the strongest episode, followed very closely by the country house one last week (actually on a laugh per minute ratio that one is probably the best), but that said the courtroom had my favourite set pieces (Henry Lewis' head in that tiny office!) and the half sets.

Also confirming the previously reported recommission of King Gary, Shane Allen, Controller of Comedy Commissioning, said today: "These two shows are jam packed with colourful characters and family friendly jokes which embody the BBC's unique commitment to cross generational comedy starring UK talent at the heart of them.

I guess that's why the third show in the Vaudeville season doesn't seem to be happening!

Happy to hear this. I wasn't completely sold on the format, but I do love Mischief Theatre a lot and will continue to watch anything they put out.
On the third show, I assumed it was dead too, but I think they mentioned something in the Terri Paddock Q&A last month implying it was still in the works? I'd need to go back and re-watch to confirm.

I'm pleased for them, but for me I'd prefer another stage play.

They are filming an episode of this in Hammersmith on Wednesday, if anyone wants to try and get tickets: www.applausestore.com/book-the-goes-wrong-show(this may well be common knowledge, but I've just come across the link by chance and can't see it posted here)

Nativity Goes Wrong to air in December. I wish the BBC would put Peter Pan Goes Wrong on iPlayer.

I'm very interested to see if this is going to be based on the Nativity Goes Wrong show they did at Reading Rep in 2013. I didn't see it but the script was published, so I'll be watching the TV show with the script in hand!

I think this must be based on Nativity Goes Wrong - couple of reasons: 1. Chris is at a piano, and the character played links between scenes in NGW 2. The writers have been quoted in the past that they may well revive it in some form in the future.
Most of the characters in Nativity were not the usual unit, so it'll be interesting to see how it's been adapted. I assume the whole "we've got a car as a generator" segment has gone as I can't see how that'll translate onto screen.
Well worth getting a copy of the script from Nativity Goes Wrong if you can - I've read it through a few times and had a really clear picture of how it "should" look in my mind. Some cracking moments, even on the page.

Loved the Nativity tonight. The Wise Men being caught without their trousers and the innkeeper bits were my favourite.

Unfortunately, didn't love it tonight. Some bits did really get me but found quite a lot of it old and predictable. Piano bits great though and very relatable as a pianist, haha!
Not sure why, but canned laught absolutely did my head in too.
